Wow, his sales and streaming must be really weak His sales are normal for a successful country track with no crossover, #56 right now on iTunes (#5 country). Streaming is negligible for country artists though. Somethin' Bad was considered a major video success because it hit 25 million views, which is about where the rest of Luke's videos end up by the end of their runs.

There's not even a music video for "I See You." It's doing as well as could be expected for a sixth single in the country genre.

Do Snap Chat video views count towards the Hot 100? I have no idea.
Madonna previewed her new video on Snap Chat.

So UF is basically guaranteed a 6th week at #1 this week. 2/28 will be post-Grammys though and it will be really interesting to see UF and TOL battle it out. Hopefully TOL can get that 1 week at #1! Ed deserves a #1 already, dammit!

Really curious how "Living for Love" will perform. The video is good but it's not buzzworthy. It took the Superbowl to get Madonna in the top ten last time. This may be her first album (believe it or not) to not have a top ten single on it. (Big ol' asterisk for "American Life," which included Die Another Day but that had been previously released.) Kind of amazing that she's had that streak for so long. I can't think of any other artist who's even close.

"Holy Water" samples the spoken word breakdown from "Vogue", but that's reaching for Pluto with that reasoning. :kii:

It's not as impressive as Madonna's streak, and it didn't start with his debut album, but Prince had at least one top ten single from ten consecutive studio albums (from the 1999 album in 1982 to the O(+> album in 1992). Rihanna's currently at 7 consecutive albums (and will be 8 maybe as soon as next week, if "FourFiveSeconds" goes top ten).

Well it's gonna take an ADELE's return level performance,a couple of award wins and outselling Uptown for him to get number one to have it snatched by Bruno or Taylor the next week.

Yep I know it's going to be tough, but I'm hoping he can somehow pull it off. 1 week is all I ask for. And Style is climbing really slowly and the video didn't even get the song into the top 5 on iTunes so it will probably be Uptown Funk going back to #1 after Thinking Out Loud (if TOL can make it). Style will not make it to #1 until at least late March/early April, if at all.

Oh that was just the Victoria's Secret fashion show thing...well she doesn't seem to be releasing the video anytime soon anyway so again I say it will be at least another month before Style has a chance at #1.

Maybe she will release the video on Ferbuary 9. She did the same thing with SIO and BS on the day they were officially released on the radio

So Uptown Funk is steadily slowing down now...at this rate it will peak at around 240M-250M within the next 2 weeks or so (unless it suddenly starts freefalling for whatever reason).

I swear this is proof ANYTHING can be a Rihanna lead single and it will still smash. A shame that she is wasting such potential to make any sound reach the masses on this schlock.

The song is obviously clicking with people, though. This isn't a case of just it smashing on radio because of it being Rihanna. It's still number three on iTunes.

I feel like it will pull a "What Now". Except that it might manage to sneak in a week in the top ten. It has been getting long strings of red updates on popularity bars for a long time now Also actually Sugar is #3 pretty far ahead of FourFiveSeconds when both versions of it are combined. It's at 0.5458 while FourFiveSeconds is at 0.4467.

I think it's more of "wow new Rihanna music. Hype!" not like "wow this is such a great song"
