Wow at Maroon 5 getting these huge updates for a fourth single. Hardly counts as a fourth single though. I was gonna say the same thing. It's a brand new song.

Just read this elsewhere: According to Republic Records, Bad Blood sold 405k this week! Nice knowing ya, SYA! it'll probably spend a few more weeks in the top two though. Clearly it's by far the most popular song from Wiz to date (well not counting Payphone on which he wasn't the lead act, although SYA might end up even bigger than that one too).

I have a question, will "Lean On" by Major Lazer do well on the charts because it does have a summer feel, can anyone answer me that?

Wow! "Fancy" is #1 a year ago and we only had 6 #1s after that. Mind blown.

See Ya SYA. Not a Swift fan but am thrilled she is smacking them down at least 3-4 weeks prematurely. UF! (kinda) getting its revenge lol. If it wasnt for Taylor, they def. had a good 3-4 more weeks at #1. Song is still gaining on radio and is still #2 on iTunes. Still not liking the song, but Cheerleader *clearly is starting to explode. I firmly predict it's gonna be #1 sometime in June/July (could be sooner but it's coming). Flush to SYA. Not a 'bad' song but so dated, cliche, and forgettable now that the hype for the movie is over. One of the fastest burners of the decade.

Also, meant to say- I'm sure Billboard is gonna kind of have a field day w/ a song named Bad Blood hitting #1 in 2015 just as it did in 1975 but by two beyond polar opposite artists and songs LOL. While not a fan I dont mind Taylor but I'd love to know how much of the GP even heard of the 1975 song by {8^D} Neil Sedaka lmao

Yeah let's prevent the another ZSOG rant while we can I agree with ss8's comment though. Oh yeah another thing: 1989 (assuming BB is #1 tomorrow) will have yielded #1s with its 1st, 2nd and 4th single but not third. I'm guessing this hasn't ever happened before. It is a very odd occurrence! Who would've thought a couple months ago that BB would make it to #1...

And another thing:
The E.N.D.'s singles peak run: 1-1-7-1-9.
1989's singles peak run: 1-1-6-1-?.

If there isn't a fifth (and sixth) single from 1989 it will be one of the biggest errors in modern music. The album is loaded with still several giant hit songs.

So since it was "added" to the deluxe version of the album, was it automatically downloaded for people who already had bought the deluxe version of the album? How did that work?

I'd bet the Deluxe version counts as a separate album on iTunes so if someone wanted the single, they'd have to buy it on its own (or as part of the Deluxe version of the album only).

I would honestly be completely shocked if there was not a fifth single from 1989, considering all of Taylor Swift's past albums have went at least five singles deep, and this is arguably her most successful album cycle.

How could I forget lol There may not necessarily be a fifth single from 1989... You are also forgetting one very important woman. Her majesty will not be pleased! Ah, yes, it appeared Madonna did it as well with the True Blue album in 1986. Live to Tell #1 Papa Don't Preach #1 True Blue #3 Open Your Heart #1 It seems that this may be a more common phenomenon than originally though, haha! Edit: Oh, it also appears the Mariah Carey kinda sorta, but not really did it with the Daydream album. "Open Arms" technically came in between the number one smashes "One Sweet Day" and "Always Be My Baby," though "Open Arms" never got the full single treatment in the US. So, really, she didn't, but kind of, she did, but not really.
