RUN AWAY WITH ME!  I've watched that seal twirl around in circles more times than I should probably admit but for some reason I'm just now seeing this one and I am equally mesmerized. Someone should make vines of different parts of the song and string them together as one silly, nonsensical, yet hypnotizing video. new music video, finally get that 2nd viral video they were looking for with "I Really Like You" |

I didnt say I hated it. Its pretty average and am just saying that this wont do anything on pop. There is something missing in this song for it to do good. If it ends up reaching top 30 on pop then I would be surprised. Just saying what I predict and expect. Another Lonely Night didnt do well at all so thats why I am doubting this could do well as well. Another Lonely Night was following up the lead single from the album which just made the top 20. His previous song before that was Trespassing in 2012 which I don't even think made the top 50. ALN had no push other than its adds date and I don't even think it made the top 1500 on iTunes, and if it did, not for long. Of course it flopped. Carly is much more popular than Adam. This song is addictive. The sax is an incredible hook, and better yet, the lyrics are amazing. Her vocals in it are perfect, and the 'chanting' of "run away with me" in the chorus adds to the overall power of the song. How is it "pretty average"? And how do you know it will do nothing on pop? Teenager Daya currently has a top ten song yet no one knows her and it has incredibly simple lyrics and weak production (although I love it anyway) What is the logic behind Carly being much more popular than Adam ? If you don't count call me maybe , which is an outlier , he trumps her success wise. |

It's definitely not going to go anywhere, but it's exciting (and fun, and nice, and just... joyful) to have this resurface, and we just want to enjoy the brief fun while it lasts. I'm beginning to sound a little Chris Crocker, so i'll stop there but... I <3 RAWM and Carly. |

Like you said success =/= popularity, and even though "Call Me Maybe" was hugely successful, Adam wins in popularity. First of all, he has a big fan base from American Idol and touring with Queen has surely given him some more fans as well. Carly doesn't have nearly as big of a fan base. Plus Adam has an "image". Carly is still just the "Call Me Maybe" girl to most people. And then just look at their album sales. His most recent debuted with three times as many as her's did. His debut album has sold almost a million copies, and his second debuted at #1 without a hit single. Carly's Kiss album, off the success of "Call Me Maybe", has barely sold 300,000. I love Carly, but Adam is definitely more popular. |

How you dare to say that? ALN was almost top 1300 (for a short time). It's a pity that they didn't promote because it's a good song and Adam deserved better, but he really needs heavy promo to do some damage in the USA. If you think about it, is there really that much of a difference between #1501 and #1300? That must only be a few hundred sales, probably less. And I agree with the last part (although I much prefer Rumors) I was trying to be sarcastic (and failing miserably). Of course there's no difference at all |
