One Direction should debut Top 3 next week, no? I would say no higher than #3. It has practically no streaming other than Spotify/on-demand (I checked on YouTube and there isn't a single video of it with over a million views, unless I'm overlooking something) and if doesn't have nearly as much airplay as Cheerleader or CFMF. It will probably top digital songs though with that huge lead in the first could days of the tracking week.

I hear it on radio often in Los Angeles Yeah, I've heard it several times on KIIS-FM. That's funny, I also live in L.A. and listen to all the major stations often and have never heard it.

I never hear Fight Song in Los Angeles though.... same with Uma Thurman.... Hear both in Kentucky a decent amount. My stations just recently started playing Lean On. They're starting to get into Bad Girls. Even caught part of Cheyenne once, although I think that was more a syndicated program playing it. No sign of Stitches, though.

to be fair shawn mendes counts as cancon here, so he pretty much is very likely to get big hits here because he's one of the few cancon artists that people give a damn about

The Hills 10. Trap Queen That would be PPPPPPPERRRRRFECT! "I can't feel my face when I'm with you / but I love it, but I love it" gets the top notch! "This is my fight song" proves this is an alright song by moving up 2 slots! "The hills have eyes"'s cult-like grip is getting a new high! Meanwhile... "Now we got a bad blood" literally gets a "bad blood" on chart! "Ahh ahh ahh ah, ahh ahh ahhhhhh ah ah, ahh ahh ahh ah ahhhhh ah ahhhhh ah ahhhhhhhhhhh ah ah ahhh ah ahh ahhh ahhh.." is gonna be fallin' like "ahh ahh ahh ah" as well! "Blow a kiss, fire a gun, there's a generic song called 'lean on'" is moving down!! "Trap queen"'s gonna be untrapped in the top 10 pretty soon! If things really go that way exactly next week, it's gonna be a great parrrrrrttttty!!

Lol at some people describing "Lean On" as generic... clear your ears please.
Also, please stop the spamming. One post is enough.

Besides, there is nothing "official" about any "official all time" chart created by someone here.

Does anyone know the last week that there were fewer than 3 debuts (not counting re-entries)? 2/22/14 (The Worst, Human, Beat of the Music), 4/5/14 (Beating Heart, Lookin' for That Girl, Summer), and 4/19/14 (Come With Me Now, Stay With Me, She Looks So Perfect) are as close as I can get.

Congratulations to Shake It Off on getting the milestone! Billboard hasn't released this week's chart yet, so hold that thought.

the Hot 100, Billboard still hasn't released it. On Billboard's website, click the Back arrow by the date (this week, you should've gone to August 1). Then, in the Web address area, replace the 01 with 15. Bingo, you get to access today's chart.

Lol at some people describing "Lean On" as generic... clear your ears please. Also, please stop the spamming. One post is enough. I cleared my ear, there's nothing special in my ear, just as there's nothing particularly good about "lean on". It sounds like from you that "lean on" is like a masterpiece made by Beethoven and thrives among the critics so much. Actually, I've never read a critic's comment that highly acclaims any part of this song. However, they do give some great appreciation to songs like "thinkin bout you", Taylor swift's "style" or even "can't feel my face" for it's like a pop perfection according to one. I've never heard of anyone saying "Lean on" is EDM perfection so I'm SUPER CONFUSED why some random people here hails this song like they hail a queen.

I can find you plenty of critics giving Lean On rave reviews, but that's off topic. You might not think its "perfection", I dont too, but its nowhere near "generic" which is the term you used. Show me another song on the Hot 100 right now that sounds like it? You wont.

Show me another song on the Hot 100 right now that sounds like it? You wont. When I first listened to this song and then "you know you like it (remix)" by DJ Snake as well, I had a "lean on the lite version of 'you know you like it' all right" kind of strong feel, and that song is still charted (#34 this week!). There are not a lot of EDM songs on hot 100 per se for their sales are such a shortage and I'm curious why. Among the current popular EDM songs, Kygo's "stole the show", "firestone" or the forementioned "you know you like it (remix)" or "where are ü now" all sound kinda like "lean on" but all of them are imo better than that.. EDM songs are giving you the instant catchiness and freshness that make you feel they're not all of a piece. However, based on my ear and my feel, "lean on" is a a-dime-a-dozen type of EDM song made by formula, not real good talent.

Even multi-week No. 1 smashes aren't going to resonate with everyone - and I don't mean people who automatically hate anything that's popular just to be contrary/hip, but people who simply can't get into it and just don't care for it. They can't hear the appeal, even when many others do. It happens. It's OK. Diverse opinions 'n such.
You can explain to someone why a song clicks with you personally (though I sometimes struggle to articulate exactly why I'm so enamoured with certain songs), or why certain songs have greater mass appeal than others, but I don't think you can talk someone into feeling your level of (or lack of) enthusiasm for a song.
