1D didn't get their #1 with 300+ though Lol, i thought i posted this on WD thread But that's because they didn't have high streaming whereas, as previously mentioned, Wildest Dreams probably will. Even "bad blood" only had 10 million streams the week it's vid premiered.. I have a feeling that "wildest dreams" will be "style" 2.0 and get a pitiful amount of streams. And never forget she doesn't have any Spotify after "shake it off", that's why she's a sort of a streaming loser by now.

Also the week Taylor retired her music of Spotify SIO reached #1 on Streaming songs. But is true that without Spotify a high streaming is difficult. Hopefully she has Apple Music now.

Ouch I remember that wrong! 18.1 millions streams can get no.1 on streaming songs past few weeks and that's probably where I got messed up.. Anyway, it says "wildest dreams" vid is gonna premier on 8/30/2015 and that's a Sunday.. and wwwwwwwwwwwwwhy does it have to be right in the middle of the streaming track period? That's gonna thwart its chance even more

Im sure it can do 15M and with 25 M airplay, she'd need 250k sales to top, i guess top 3 is what we might get

Does anyone know which (male) rap/hip-hop artist hold record for most Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits from one album?

50 Cent had four from The Massacre: "Disco Inferno" (#3), "Candy Shop" (#1), "Just a Lil Bit" (#3), "Outta Control" (#6)
T.I. also had four from Paper Trail: "Whatever You Like" (#1), "Swagga Like Us" (#5), "Live Your Life" (#1), "Dead and Gone" (#2)
And there's also Flo Rida (obviously more pop but still a rapper), who scored four from Wild Ones: "Good Feeling" (#3), "Wild Ones" (#5), "Whistle" (#1), "I Cry" (#6)
Don't think anyone has scored five. If there is it's probably really obvious, but I couldn't think of anyone who could've done that.

What's the cause of a song with on-demand and a decent vid already winds up getting little streams? It happens with "locked away" (only about 6 million this week? Its digital and airplay are both surging!) "shut up and dance", "fight song", "honey I'm good", "style" and more.. Is an important reason being that their videos are just boring and no one is likely to replay them? It's like a great amount of people heard of them but they just won't play repeatedly or it's rather the limited fanbase of the artists themselves? Which is a more important factor? Replayability of the video or the amount of people knowing the existence of that video?

Wow, Ed Sheeran is killing it at radio. 4th single of X, and it's doing so well on airplay. Didn't expect Photograph would do that well on radio, he's had a great era! And to think that Sing (at 13) will likely be lowest charting X single - when Photograph surges this week and next.

I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure this is the first year ever that we've gotten to September with every song that reached number one during the calendar year still in the TOP TWENTY. Just another sign of how slow the charts this year have been.

Closest one to five was Eminem - Relapse had 5 hits but not all were top 10

I'm betting Uptown Funk will outlast See You Again which is crazy if it happens.

They're all post album release singles as well except SING, which you think would somehow affect sales (Photograph is top 15 on iTunes although the album is over a year old and has been selling very well)

They're all post album release singles as well except SING, which you think would somehow affect sales (Photograph is top 15 on iTunes although the album is over a year old and has been selling very well) And Sing was heavily hyped with the people involved and the immediate out-of-the-box reception. I did not think it was a good sign for X, but Don't, which I love, changed all that and TOL, which I loathe, clicked in a big way extending the life of the album.

In the case of Shut Up And Dance, Fight Song and Honey I'm Good, I think it's because they're more adult contemporary tracks. They do much better on iTunes, but the teenagers using Youtube might not care about them as much.

I'm fairly certain that with the tweaked formula of end of 2014, Sing would've been a top 10 hit.
It looks like Cheerleader is significantly falling behind CFMF in both airplay and sales (and presumably at least to some extent following this trend in streaming) so it should be a no-brainer that, unless there's some viral video of Cheerleader that came out this week that I'm unaware of, CFMF will be #1 on the Hot 100 this week. I wonder how high the Bieber song will go on 9/19...it's already #1 on iTunes in its FIRST pop bars update :O it better not end up blocking Lean On or The Hills should they end up reaching that high! -___-

Well JB just released his first new single so we have 6 number ones this year. Also Imagine Dragons and Macklemore released stuff all on the same day.

For once I wouldn't mind a #1 debut for Biebs. I think CFMF/CL are only moderately strong as a top 2 (not like AATB/SIO last year where they were both gigantic) so it may be a perfect opportunity for him.
