For bboat11 : At breakfast this morning, I heard Martina McBride's version of Silver Bells on my local A.C. station. Thought of you and it put a smile on my face. It's the most wonderful time of the year! Martina's Christmas music is so popular that it has been integrated into the overall lexicon of classic Christmas music, and you randomly hear her everywhere. Especially "Silver Bells". Most people would probably recognize her version of "Silver Bells" even if they have never heard of her. I randomly heard her version of "Silent Night" in Walmart a few weeks ago. It's the only time of year where I run into Martina music on the radio or randomly in public on a regular basis, and it makes my heart happy

At the bank today I heard “Fallin’ Never Felt So Good” by Shawn Camp. Talk about random!

Longhorn Steakhouse:
Ryan Kinder - "Tonight"
They also played "When It's Christmas Time Down In Texas" by George Strait and a waiter said to some customers, "this song is dope." lol

Always one of my favorite holiday tunes down this way in Texas, As for last song I most recently heard out and about...it was actually Mark Chesnutt’s “Too Cold At Home” not just a couple of weeks ago at the same place I heard “Fallin’ Never Felt So Good.” I think I went back and had to listen to Mark’s first album just for the mormories. Not sure what station this location keeps the station tuned to but I’ll bet it’s 90’s country lol.

I was shocked to hear Montgomery Gentry's 'Lonely and Gone' playing at my local Walmart today. Then again, I've heard them play Aaron Watson's 'That Look' a lot.

Some songs I heard in a sushi restaurant recently:
Jewel - Anyone but You Jewel - Stay Here Forever Leighton Meester - Words I Couldn't Say Sara Evans - Perfect Chase Rice - Ready, Set, Roll
Aside from the messiness of throwing that dumpster fire from Chase Rice into the fray, the playlist they had going sounded like something I could've made. I was also amused because aside from a few Hot AC songs sprinkled in there, it was mostly country music in a Japanese restaurant... but it is Kansas though so... lol. There was more, but these are the ones I can remember.

Lots of country and open space up there. :) You're right. To let the rest of the Country Forum in, there are only three really built up areas of Niagara County: Niagara Falls, the City of North Tonawanda, and Lockport. The rest is farmland. I call Lockport the Amherst of Niagara County.

I read someone say a couple weeks ago that they work in a store, and the store plays Sugarland's "All I Want To Do" so much that the customers complain about how bad it is, haha.

Today I heard "Use Somebody" by Margaret Durante in Neiman's supermarket. Strangely, it was also the only country song I heard in there despite being in for nearly 15 minutes.
