Any chances on PSY's "Daddy" (featuring CL)? Since it already debuted on Billboard Hot 100 on December 19, 2015, is that true that PSY's "Daddy" will be hit on Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 by January, February or March 2016? Or never a Top 40 hit, becomes the first non-Top 40 hit by PSY? Sales? Airplays? Streaming? Any parodies? Based on his past two singles I think this or next week will be its peak. However, you never know. If it can somehow gets good radio support it could end up top 40... Also, I agree that Justin Bieber really could get #1 with Sorry (and probably Love Yourself too but later). It might overtake Hello on streaming next week, the airplay gap is closing (and Justin could feasibly overtake Adele in that too in a few weeks), the sales gap seems to be closing too (not sure if Sorry can ever out-sell Hello, but it doesn't need to to get #1 if it can get ahead in streaming and airplay).

Like 6 or 7 years ago, Oprah was the biggest, right? No one has the sales impact that Oprah used to give. The Oprah effect would often assure a #1 album for an artist the following week. It's unlikely that we'll see anyone with that sort of power again any time soon.

It's unlikely that we'll see anyone with that sort of power again any time soon. Case in point: Michael Buble with Crazy Love and Josh Groban with Noel

No, he has no chance. His gimmick has run its course. Justin Bieber has almost 50 million streams from his album on Spotify alone. He would be top 10 on the BB200 without selling a single CD.

Every week Fuckin' Problems is in the top 200 on Spotify. Has it just constantly been top 200 since 2012?

So "Hello" has returned to earth in digital sales. Hopefully it has a good post-Christmas week.
"Love Yourself" is doing so well - has anything been this big before becoming an actual single? I don't even think "Dark Horse" was this strong.

Lean On still have 2 million plays in Spotify per week, and that's US only... I guess it's going to hold the record as the most played track in Spotify for a while.

Who can explain that In The Night's video has so little views when it's so riveting? I mean, seriously, only 1 million per day? I don't know, but didn't Can't Feel My Face's video not do that well in the beginning too (whilst the audio was doing well )? Glad the video is out, I hope In The Night can go top 10. Unfortunately #1 is virtually impossible for the song though. :( Odd though that with the low streaming numbers it's somehow jumped into the top 5 on iTunes.

Yup. She filmed a video for it in New Zealand. Well, she filmed a video in NZ. We don't know what song it's for. It's speculated to be OOTW, and apparently OOTW has been sent to Australian radio this week, but rumors are circulating that the video could be for Clear as well.

01 03 (Just Like) Starting Over - John Lennon (1st of 5 weeks at #1) 02 02 More Than I Can Say - Leo Sayer 03 04 Love On The Rocks - Neil Diamond 04 01 Lady - Kenny Rogers 05 06 Hungry Heart - Bruce Springsteen
ICONIC!
Fun fact: the instrumental for Britney's bubblegum classic "Lucky" was (very obviously) based on the instrumental for "Hungry Heart".

It's already #33 on Australia iTunes, actually (and #71 on NZ iTunes). "Wildest Dreams" and "Style" took off in those two countries first as well, so that's probably enough confirmation. They're probably going to wait til after the freeze to push it in the US, though.

^ Don't most songs take off in Australia and New Zealand first anyway?
As for album tracks that had the success of Love Yourself, the only one I can think of is Love The Way You Lie, but that got announced as a single quite soon after.
However, I discovered that Love Yourself actually got sent to radio in the UK the same week the album got released. So is it really an un-promoted album track after all? It might be in the US, but in the UK it's not. But the fact that his label sent the song for UK adds on album release week makes me think they had plans for it of some sort.
Given the success of Fetty Wap, The Weeknd, Drake and now Justin Bieber, I think we're going to see more artists try and have multiple big hits at the same time. It also helps them a lot in the BB200 if they do this. Looks like Selena Gomez is already giving it a go.

So "Hello" has returned to earth in digital sales. Hopefully it has a good post-Christmas week. It's just a momentarily pit-stop before Adele's NBC special monday, which'll catapult its sales up once more.

I keep hearing When We Were Young on my local Top 40 station this weekend and it sounds great. I can see this being as big as Hello on the radio. Wow I need to check the H100 threads more often - when did that 52 week rule get implemented? Last week I believe. I guess they're starting it for the 2016 Billboard year

TWENTY ONE PILOTS - Stressed Out: 42.208 (+ 1.627)
This has a LOT of potential. We haven't had a song this relatable/"Authentic" to young people smash in a quick second.

Billboard 2015 year-end issue magazine's cover is Nicki Minaj with that weird tattoo? Why her? I was thinking the Weeknd or Taylor Swift or Adele or Fetty Wap (especially the Weeknd)
