Did Cold Water just peak on airplay?? Yes, I think it did. It's been falling on Pop and slowing on Hot AC It seems a little soon to me that is has peaked already. Anyway, Major Lazer has released a new single although I don't think they're not pushing it yet.

- Too Good's top 10 chances are pretty much done now that it is falling on radio... unless the movie exclusive can boost it although I don't know if it's even included as I haven't watched it. If someone else can assure this, that'd be great.
Too Good is not part of the exclusive, unfortunately. The vid only included One Dance (with Kyla) and Controlla.

georgetherunner314 , out of curiosity, where do you predict "i hate u, i love u" to place this week? Without any rounding, I have it at 53k sales, 37m airplay, and 9.7m streams = 17,670 points to put it at #15. At the same time, it could very well beat One Dance to #14 or maybe even Ride or Gold if I'm more inaccurate to #13 or #12 (the points are just so close). Could also go as far down as #17 behind Too Good and/or Needed Me, but I'm pretty sure that if I'm wrong it'll be because it should be higher.

I'm glad I underestimated Starboy. If it makes it to the top 3 I'll be super excited.

Oh boy we have a real threat for number one now. Bruno is (hopefully) dropping some fire with 24k magic Friday. Not gonna get too excited because I've been let down too much this year *cough* Gaga Katy Britney *cough*.

Lol and there goes everybody predicting "Starboy" to be the next #1.
Honestly though, it would be ridiculous if Closer survived both Starboy and 24k Magic.

From there on its anyone's guess really. 9 weeks is pretty safe unless 24k magic debuts at number 1.

How much would the Bruno single likely have to sell to debut #1? I assume it would have to be a huge total since it will be way behind in airplay and "Closer" has strong sales anyway. I guess we will have to see if the Bruno song is available in various stream formats/services.

Obviously an increase in streaming would require less sales, etc. 350k Sales 20m Streams 30m Radio or 300k Sales 25m Streams 40m Radio or 250k Sales 32m Stream 25m Radio or 200k Sales 40m Streams 25m Radio

I think it's likely that he'll pull it off with ease as long as everything is in place, availability-wise... and Closer doesn't have unexpected promo and/or climbs that week.

I don't think Bruno will debut at #1, and this is coming from a fan. Locked Out of Heaven only sold 93k in it's first week and that was in 2012, at the peak of digital sales. I do think a top 10 debut is certain, and top 5 is likely, especially if the video comes in the first week.

While sales are generally lower now, true, there's significant hype for him this time around after Uptown Funk, and his audience demo has grown significantly. A lot of it will depend on the song itself, too... but if he delivers, I think he can do it easily.

I'm saying that his Superbowl performance and Uptown Funk have inevitably increased his demographic compared to what he had in 2012. I think this era has the potential to be his commercial peak if the music is on point and connects.

Closer is huge right now. I'm thinking a top 3 debut for Bruno and then it reaches #1 later as the more likely scenario.
Shame about Heathens getting blocked. Also, Starboy will need very good timing to make it to #1 if Bruno's song delivers.
