I think it’s already streaming on Amazon in the US, so Canadians viewers watch for it on amazon prime.
They painted the janet. era as being eclipsed by the Rolling Stone cover. Luckily that was not my experience at all, it had a far more lasting impact on me than the mag cover did (which I still own btw). I’ve coveted the Janet. album on vinyl for some time now but it’s always the price of a car or OOP. In the end Rene was left in legal with, ‘Those are my hands on the RS cover’
It was fun how they subtly framed Scream as Janet doing charity lol. I liked Michael suggesting she sing it mad like the way she sings Black Cat. I’d love to one day also hear Questlove’s full interview. Lastly, Im happy she got into the rock hall of fame not because she needed to but because she wanted to and richly deserves alongside her brothers, even her speech that night was about family. Overall I liked the fleeting behind the scenes of Again, RN, Velvet Rope, etc. and how forthright she was.

They can get points off for the following reasons... -3 for the commercials (ship it back) -3 for not being a series (that's the only way to give more details) -3 mistakes with dates (one example was Wayne Scot's time with Janet went from 1993-2004 then 1993-2006 then back to 1993-2004) If I may a stat on screen was also inaccurate: ‘Rhythm Nation: Number 1 billboard hot 100’ but it peaked at number 2. Number 1 on the billboard 200 would have looked hotter and is the truth. |

A&E Networks are jointly owned by Hearst Corporation and The Walt Disney Company, so my guess is it will appear on Hulu or Disney+.
Maybe it will be another hype spin mini-event of the must-see documentary finally appearing on streaming.

He cheated out of insecurity. He wasn't used to the attention he got while with Janet, so he acted on temptation. |

Yeah, that was... not it. Omg I just watched the actual interview and it's so much worse lmao. Not really Janet's fault but the fact that she has to go out there and be like "well we'll see" to pretty much everything including releasing a damn song to Spotify is just... yikes lol. |
