^ Presuming that's going to be your #1 then.  I don't know. That's just the one that stood out the most as being the most unexpected. I might do this one, considering there's so many Alternative crossovers and it doesn't look like the 1998 Alternative rankdown is going to happen until 2019. Then again, there's a lot of stuff here I don't know. |

Just sent my list!
It was actually fun ranking these(even with the fact that it took me a lot longer with the amount of songs and the uncountable switches I made until the final ranking LOL).
I own 61 of 75 songs on the list - which means I like most of the songs enough to buy them LOL
I'm confident in some of my top 10 selections but I'm sure some will be out earlier than I wish.

Done finally~ I like a lot of the music that's in this list; there's only a few songs peppered through the lower parts of my top 50 that I don't care much for, and it's really from #51 downwards that I start disliking stuff. |

Mr. Thonk Eyes I know you suggested me following this rankdown in the 2014 Country Rankdown thread, but I might actually be able to participate! I'm working on it very last minute lol I'm not very familiar with music pre-2000s because I grew up in a country where English songs weren't very mainstream outside some artists like Madonna, Mariah etc. and I didn't really get into music until 2010, so this has been a good discovery for me. But man 1998 is such a good year!

Top 20 is exclusively Alt. Definitely some great crossovers in this mix. One artist triples up in my top ten while another triples down in my bottom five.
