1. I wish either Verve or any Third Eye Blind song, but Frozen does has a better chance, because Pulse..though it's in my top 10.

Aside from the Alt crossovers, there wasn't much of this list I enjoyed much. I'd say my top 26 is all the songs I liked, then there's a lot of forgettable stuff that all blends together in the same tier. I dislike 70-75.

I have no idea how well-received these songs are so I'll screw up badly but might as well give it a shot...

"Semi- Charmed Life" is a classic. It should have the highest chances of winning.

I hope most of the R&B stuff goes out early, and a lot of the pop songs can go early too. I heavily favored the Alt songs and more power ballad pop songs in this rankdown, with a few exceptions. There's a ton of good stuff on this rankdown, but I'd really love to see something in my top 5 win it. My #1 is my second favorite song of all-time, so I really really hope it does well here.

My initial reaction looking through the songs was Iris or Torn. I think the only thing stopping either winning is the overplayed factor, but given 20 years has gone by (pretty much), I don't see it being as much of an issue, although Iris charted here for practically 2 years.
2) What song do you think will finish last place?
Looking at who's taking part, I don't see the R n B songs having too much love, so Uncle Sam will be out sharpish I think, and Lauryn Hill probably not too far behind.
3) What song do you think will finish with the highest Standard Deviation?
"My heart will go on" or "Tubthumping".
4) What song do you think will finish with the lowest Standard Deviation?
I expect "Truly madly deeply" will have a lot of 20ish ranks. Think of that one as a song that is less likely to be really loved or hated, but expect to be proved wrong!
5) How do you think your #1 will do?
I don't think it will win, but I am hopeful it will fare reasonably well. Expect it to be out around 25 or so.

I would expect Semi Charmed Life to win but apparently a lot of people like Madonna here, and "Frozen" was a very pleasant surprise for me, I actually liked it.
I think the bottom of the year-end will also be the bottom of the rankdown.
Also, I do have high hopes for my #1 making top ten. It has a good shot.
