So Called Life was a terrible follow up to Where I Come From, IMO. I thought WICF was a great tune and was surprised how well it performed, given it was an Average Joe’s single.
That said, I’m sure a few of my Top 5 aren’t other people’s favorites.

My thoughts on the two out so far!
"Jack In My Coke" is so atrocious I cannot lol. I actually am fine with MG's parts but geez... the music, production, and The Lacs are AWFUL on it! Not sure what MG were thinking doing this with them lol.
"So Called Life" is definitely a jam, though. I knew it was going to do poorly in this but it deserved a bit better. It's a fun, edgy, upbeat rocker. I *get* why it's not a favorite, and it never had a chance of making my top 10, but it's fun!

One might argue that "Jack In My Coke" is basically a Lacs song, but MG have a predominate feature on it (they do the whole chorus) and it's listed as a Guest Single on Wikipedia. So yeah, I apologize to anyone who thinks "The Truth About Men" should have been included in this. |

Something about "Oughta Be More Songs About That" just doesn't work for me that well. I like it fine when I listen to it, is nothing that I would purposely seek out when I wanna listen to MG.
"Folks Like Us" is good too, just more on the generic side so I put it lower.

So Called Life was such a poor single choice. Rebels on the Run was a PERFECT follow up and had that perfect vintage MG sound. Would’ve been good with Ain’t No Law Against That as well.
Oughta Be More Songs was an even worse choice. I wish they would’ve given One Trip a shot instead of moving on from BWIKIA album. Or just releasing that instead of Long Line Of Losers
