I wonder if Scott Russo is allowed back in Florida yet. I went to a show back in I want to say 2005 or 2006 where Unwritten Law was opening for 311 and Papa Roach. I had never seen UL before and had seen the other two bands, so I was kind of excited being a big UL fan back then. Before the show started, one of the managers of the venue came on the mic and said UL wouldn't be performing since the singer is not allowed in the state. I never found out what the hell happened and obviously still have not seen them live before.

80. The Used - Blood on My Hands "The Bird and the Worm" should be in 2008, right? I have a feeling "Blood on my Hands" won't do all that well, but y'all better not pay "The Bird and the Worm" any dust. "The Bird and the Worm" is fantastic. Lots of good stuff here. I like this year a lot but 2008 will be tough to rank. I think I know my top 5 at least. |

Fwiw guys, I made a playlist consisting of everything to chart from 2009 to 2017. The playlist also includes songs that charted in 2008 for Alt but I kept the title as 2009 (EDIT: NOT 2008 as I said earlier) since I haven't finished adding the songs for Active and AAA 2008 yet.

I just have to say it. I'm barely two songs into this, and already that Iglu and Hartly song is a strong contender for my bottom 3. wannabe Indiepop with discount Eminem rapping. I can only hope this was the low point of this list?

We're posting in a different font, and you know what that means...WE HAVE UPDATE SIGN! It's time for the rock chart rankdown version of the B-B-B-B-BALLOT UPDATE! The latest group of rankings come from two posters that have similarities, and another that...doesn't.  Here's what's going on after the latest rankings from Daryl, Sam, and peacebone...
- The number of songs that have been in every top ten from the beginning is down from six to four. Two of those four songs are in the top five.
- The same three bottom ten songs from the previous update have not moved on from the bottom ten. One of them is less than forty points behind #90 and over 100 points higher than #100.
- Just three songs have less than 100 points. The bottom two have less than fifty.
- Seventeen songs have crossed the 500-point threshold in the early stages of the ranking process. Three songs are over 600.
- It's time, yet again, for Pulse's Favorite Part of the Ballot Update...
SOUND THE ALARM! There's a tie right at the top, at #2. Ties can also be found at #15, #28, #32, #52, #73, #76, #79, and at #91.

We're posting in a different font, and you know what that means...FINALLY, THOSE SALIVATING FOR A BALLOT UPDATE CAN NOW EAT AGAIN! It's time for the rock chart rankdown version of the B-B-B-B-BALLOT UPDATE! The latest group of rankings come from three decidedly "rock posters", though of varying tastes: dm, Green, and janinho. Should be fun to see how these three have changed things up...
- Another two of the four songs to be in every top ten dropped out of the top ten at least once during the last three rankings. Only two remain. Those two are also not in danger of falling out of the top ten just yet.
- The same three bottom ten songs from the previous update have not moved on from the bottom ten, but hope is on the horizon for one, as it's just a couple spots away from jumping out of the bottom ten. The other two songs, though...
- More posters means a higher threshold for the bottom songs, as now, only five songs are under the 200 point threshold. Incredibly, one song is still under 100 points.
- Only three songs are over the 800 point mark. Seventeen are above the 700 point threshold, however.
- It's time, yet again, for Pulse's Favorite Part of the Ballot Update...
No huge ties in the top ten this time, sadly, so there's no need for the alarm to be sounded, but there are ties at #22, #34, #40, #54, #57, and all the way down at #97.

I'm finishing up my list and should be done in a couple of days. I went through the list with the preference revealer yesterday. I surprised myself with where I ended up ranking some of the songs. I still have to do some rearranging to finalize my rankings.
