Lmao if mods wanna ban me for telling the truth, then so be it. All the proof is above in that genius article. LOL. See right above. I saw that, Sherane is under the impression that calling 6ix9ine a sexual predator warrants a warning on here.

All taste in music aside, (like I said, I don't even like Gummo), how are you gonna call somebody a "pedophile" and say it's a fact? Based on what? You really should at least be getting a warning for that type of thing, if we aren't allowed to call Beyonce "discount Rihanna". Cause that's like an actual serious accusation to toss around. "I'm just saying that you're a hypocrite if you believe Praying is generic and Gummo is something different." And how? His vocal style is actually distinct. Nobody's combined trap with those weird screamo vocals before. I don't even like it, but it's at least something different. Lmao if mods wanna ban me for telling the truth, then so be it. All the proof is above in that genius article. So you believe that police have a video of 6ix9ine raping a child, and then let him off with a slap of the wrist? And then call ME delusional for noting that Gummo's style is distinct?

Other rappers like XXXTentaclePorn and Kodak Black also have serious allegations against them yet they aren't in jail. I don't know why, but america's justice system isn't amazing if you haven't noticed.

As this is a music forum, I personally don't care what the person performing the song has done away from the song, as long as I like the song As far as this discussion goes

I don't know why, but america's justice system isn't amazing if you haven't noticed. He wasn't famous or rich. This happened 2 years ago. The cops got him for "Using a child in sexual performance" back when he was 17 and there's no word on who the "child" was. Or what was sexual about the performance. Knowing the police, they could use "child" to describe somebody the same age as 6ix9ine. And he was actually charged with the crime. Not just accused. A video was made with him in it. Pretty damn sure the cops didn't have a film of this dude having sex with a little kid. The ironic thing is that XXXTENTACION and Kodak Black have actually been formally accused of rape by actual alleged victims. Both have upcoming court dates, with X's in just three days. 6ix9ine, as weird as he is, was only accused by a fellow rapper (the guy from "F*ck Love).

If someone gets charged/convicted of Using a Child in a Sexual Performance when they are 18 (18, not 17), said "child" is NOT going to be the same age. It just...doesn't work that way? Also, unless you were actually someone who was involved in investigating/litigating/etc. the charges involved, you cannot say with certainty who he did or did not have with him in that film. Nor can (probably) anyone else here.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Kooda which seems to be from the same heap of *rap as Gummo ... Hasn't really blown up like Gummo. If it does you'll hear about it lol Well, it has passed "Gummo" in YouTube streams as of late.

Well, one could be elected tonight, too. This is what bothers me about people who say they don't care about the behavior of the artist when listening to their music; those things have impact that go beyond just music. At some point, don't we have to draw a line on what we will tolerate from paid musicians, athletes, etc?

God, this reminds me of Preds getting dragged to hell for supporting Kodak Black.
I don't get what's difficult to understand about the concept of NOT REWARDING TRASH PEOPLE FOR BEING TRASH. I don't give a flying f**k if they're 'talented' (subjective) or if you like their music. If someone is going around doing disgusting things (AND IS CHARGE WITH/FOUND GUILTY OF DOING DISGUSTING THINGS) then they do not deserve any sort of preferential treatment or support.

I definitely don't think you could have sex with a kid on film, get found guilty for it, and then be out and about 1-2 years later. But I guess I'm not a lawyer.

In actual Chart news, a peak of 6 for All I Want For Christmas, high or low? Huge. Can you imagine if we saw this on the decade chart lol? It re-enters every Christmas, and probably stays around for 6 weeks, 6x10 = 60 weeks, with a peak of #6 (hypothetically). Too bad it was only allowed to re-enter a couple of years ago.

People loved Ke$ha from 2009-2013. Not because of bottom of the barrel trash like "Praying". Not because of crap that's peddled to soccer moms and radio stations who thrive off being inoffensive enough for office buildings. We should continue this discussion when Praying wins Kesha her first Grammy. By “office buildings” do you mean adults with jobs? I mean specifically people forced to sit alongside the highly religious/easily offended and find some inoffensive ambiance to fill the room that everyone can agree is really easy to ignore. The type of music I hear in my dentist's waiting room. Specifically, in my neck of the woods, KYMX and KJOY.

The type of music I hear in my dentist's waiting room. Specifically, in my neck of the woods, KYMX and KJOY. You're really going to come for one of the most critically acclaimed songs of the year as "bottom of the barrel boring trash"? Rainbow is 81 on Metacritic, which is higher than every Drake album, for example. Not all songs are written to be played as background music while smoking weed, like Gucci Gang was. No offence, but you're one of the most close-minded people on this board in regards to musical genres, while constantly insinuating that anyone who doesn't like a particular Urban song is immediately close-minded. I listen to every single song that hits the chart. I give every single song a chance. No matter the genre. I have favorites from every genre and subgenre. I know that I am not close minded. Disliking a song doesn't make you close minded. Whether it's got 81 or 75 or 0 on Metacritic. What I dislike is that there tends to be a constant never-ending parade of negativity, aimed primarily at Hip-Hop artists, every time that I come to check what the charts might look like next week. Whatever though. Do your thing. You're entitled to your negativity. I just think that with the power of Apple Music increasing, you're gonna have a real s**tty 2018
