The first #1 duet this decade..? The Monster, Closer, Timber..? If Empire State of Mind counts as a duet, I don't see why those aren't

Also the BTS group continues to be overhyped. Stats just aren't there for them US-wise.

Even so, I'd only consider "Closer" a duet out of those - the others are pretty split with one artist on the verses and the other on the chorus.

MIC DROP only debuted high because of hype on sales, and YouTube, it has literally nothing going for it. Now I wonder where GUMMO is this week because of the YouTube views being staggering to say the least.

If Empire State of Mind counts as a duet, I don't see why those aren't Well, Chainsmokers are already a duo, so adding Halsey makes that a group and not a duet. Still, if "ESOM" counts then, yes, the other pairings you mention should as well. I guess they are going by how it's credited though? As in, maybe those were "featuring" instead of "&."

I would count Just Give Me A Reason as a duet, as well

Also the BTS group continues to be overhyped. Stats just aren't there for them US-wise. They're definitely big in the US (at least on social media), but sometimes I feel Billboard try so hard to make it seem like they're happening. Probably just because they know those tweets/articles will get attention

Finally! Bad at a Love at the top 10. Now we need New Rules there as well. If Dua Lipa misses the top 10 because of an old Christmas song, I will be beyond irritated!

#71 BTS feat. Desiigner - MIC Drop [Steve Aoki Remix] (-43) #53 Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me (RE) #21 G-Eazy feat. Halsey - Him & I (NEW) #11 Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You (+10) #10 Maroon 5 feat. SZA - What Lovers Do (-1) #9 Cardi B - Bodak Yellow (-2) #8 Halsey - Bad At Love (+3) YEESSSSSS #7 G-Eazy feat. A$AP Rocky & Cardi B - No Limit (+1) #6 Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes (=) (I can't believe this is doing so well, it feels like such a non event..) #5 Imagine Dragons - Thunder (=) #4 Lil Pump - Gucci Gang (=) (#2 on streaming) #3 Camila Cabello - Havana (-1) (#1 on radio) So, whatever "Gummo" issue you all referenced but not be a mistake but rather the rule? Billboard has been blacking out on YouTube completely recently, because they can't figure out which views are real and which aren't. They've had YouTube since 2013. So almost 5 years now. And they are just now having this problem. "Bank Account", "Gummo", and "Gucci Gang" seem to be confirmed instances of these mistakes.

Wait so what was/is the Gummo issue? Kinda blew up out of nowhere off the back of YouTube and SoundCloud (Free Steaming) and doing nothing anywhere else. Two weeks ago it damn near exploded up from the lower 40s to 29 iirc then last week it plummets down to the low 50s. The reasoning for this is split here. Some think YouTube is taking away all of the fake views like what happened when Gucci Gang dropped out of the top ten and rebounded to 3 the next week. Some think its the rule change where free streaming gives less points but Billboard would've announced that it's in place now. The likely outcome is the fake views were really holding it together.

I'd say Billboard needs to give Youtube an ultimatum: sort out your own data and clear up this mess or we won't count you on our formulas at all. That should be more than enough for Youtube to look into the issue.

That’s what’s irritating you...at the thought of it. Nope...it's happening...she's getting that 28th top 10, just not at the expense of Dua Lipa. Plain and simple. Like another top 10 from Mariah is some kind of threat. lol

Based on its continued run as the most popular holiday tune year in and year out, a top 10 peak for AIWFCIY indeed is deserving. That's one less classic tune that won't require discussion/clarification of why it didn't reach the top 10, or another chart range, despite its classic status.
I'm not sure what the trend is, though, for this coming third week on the chart- the gain may not be as large as it's been the last couple of weeks. Streaming, though, is leading the way by far.
These are the AIWFCIY stats, per Billboard:
Sales: 19-13, 21,000 (+33%) Airplay: 47-42, 27 million (+4%) Streaming: 16-7, 24.2 million (+47%)

Really, sales is the one to watch, as sales seem lower during the week compared to the weekend.

So, it's more about how much "What Lovers Do" and "Bodak Yellow" fall.
