It may be 2022 but most of the UK was transported back to 1985 this summer, as Kate Bush’s record-breaking hit Running Up That Hill has been named the UK’s Official Song of the Summer 2022, the Official Charts Company can reveal today. Nostalgia reigns supreme as Running Up That Hill – resurrected into the public consciousness thanks to the release of Stranger Things season 4 in in two parts across May and July – beats off modern-day anthems by the likes of Harry Styles, LF SYSTEM and Beyoncé.
Based on new Official Charts Company streaming and sales data from around 9,000 UK physical and digital outlets, the juddering New Wave masterpiece clocks in over 762,000 chart units over the summer period; tracked from the first week of June to the last week of August.
When it (finally) hit Number 1 this June, Running Up That Hill broke several Official Charts records in the process, including the longest time taken for a single to reach Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart – 37 years, and now the lead single from Bush’s magnum opus Hounds of Love tops the Official Charts’ Songs of the Summer list with the most streams of any song this summer (86.6 million) and the most digital downloads too (over 42,000).
The longest-running Number 1 single of the year so far, Harry Styles’ similarly 80s-themed As It Was, places at Number 2, while Harry himself claims a further two entries in the wider Top 40; Late Night Talking (10) and Music For A Sushi Restaurant (22). Also helping to soundtrack the hottest summer on record was LF SYSTEM’s long-running Number 1 hit Afraid To Feel, Cat Burns’ breakthrough viral anthem Go (5) and Beyoncé’s extravagant house banger Break My Soul (8).
Now that dance music is officially back on the charts, a number of high-tempo releases also appear, including David Guetta, Becky Hill & Ella Henderson’s Crazy What Love Can Do (7), Nathan Daw & Ella Henderson’s 21 Reasons (12), Jax Jones & MNEK on Where Did You Go? (16) and Lost Frequencies & Calum Scott’s Where Are You Now (20), all Top 10 hits on the Official Singles Chart this year.
Elsewhere, we also see appearance’s from Sam Ryder’s record-breaking Eurovision anthem SPACE MAN (26), Dave’s Number 1 hit Starlight (35) and Tate McRae’s ascendant pop-rock anthem She’s All I Wanna Be (39). The UK's Official Songs of the Summer 2022

The Doncaster rocker secures his second chart-topping LP, while DJ Eliza Rose has the UK's Number 1 single for a second week running.
Official Chart published under a King, Charles III.
The Official Singles chart was born in November 1952, the same year that the late Queen Elizabeth II came to the throne, meaning Her Majesty’s incredible 70-year reign has spanned the full lifetime of the Official Chart so far.
YUNGBLUD achieves his second UK Number 1 album this week with self-titled third studio record.
The Doncaster-born alt-rock artist, real name Dominic Richard Harrison, has previously enjoyed two Top 10 albums, with 2019 debut The Underrated Youth (6) and 2020 LP Weird! (1).
American thrash metal group Megadeth, comprising Dave Mustaine, James LoMenzo, Kiko Loureiro and Dirk Verbeuren, attain a career best, as their sixteenth studio album The Sick, The Dying…And The Dead! enters at Number 3. The LP becomes Megadeth’s first Top 10 release in 28 years, their last being 1994’s Youthanasia (6), while also providing the band their twelfth Top 40 album across a 40-year career.
An emotional performance dedicated to his late wife on last weekend’s The Voice sees Tom Jones’s former Number 1 album Surrounded By Time return to the Top 20 (13). The LP saw Sir Tom secure Official Chart Record Breaker status upon its release in April 2021, when he became the oldest male ever to have achieved a Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.
As he marks his return with new single Forget Me, Lewis Capaldi sees his Number 1 2019 debut LP Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent rise 15 places (17).
Foo Fighters’ Greatest Hits rises 44 places back into the Top 20 this week following the group’s Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at London’s Wembley Stadium last weekend (18). The event saw frontman Dave Grohl and co. honour their late bandmate, who died earlier this year aged 50. The compilation peaked at Number 4 upon its original release in 2004.
Keane frontman Tom Chaplin achieves his third solo Top 40 album with Midpoint this week (19). Tom previously saw success with 2016 release The Wave (3) and 2017’s Twelve Tales of Christmas (21). Across his entire career, encompassing Keane, Tom now has nine Top 10 albums to his name.
Following the recent announcement of her upcoming album Midnights, Taylor Swift’s 2020 Number 1 record folklore rises nine places this week (27).
Former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett debuts at Number 28 with his Genesis Revisited Live: Seconds Out & More; the LP becoming the 72-year-old’s thirteenth solo UK Top 40 album.
Finally, Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt lands a third Top 40 record with Älskar (34).
Eliza Rose and Interplanetary Criminal are Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart for a second week with B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All), once again the most-streamed song in the country.
Rising fast behind are David Guetta and Bebe Rexha with I’m Good (Blue), which jumps five to a new peak of Number 2. Interpolating Eiffel 65’s 1998 Number 1 single Blue (Da Ba Dee), I’m Good is the biggest-selling digital download in the UK this week.
OneRepublic continue their steady ascent to another new peak today, with Top Gun: Maverick anthem I Ain’t Worried up one to Number 3. It becomes the highest-peaking single in the UK for Ryan Tedder and co. since 2014’s Love Runs Out (3).
Back in the Top 10 this week is Harry Styles’ Late Night Talking (5) - the biggest single of the week on physical formats - as excitement for his upcoming film release Don’t Worry Darling reaches fever pitch, and Nicki Minaj’s Super Freaky Girl (6) following the release of its music video.
Two of the biggest rising dance hits on the chart right now continue to climb; James Hype and Miggy Dela Rosa’s Ferrari (7) is up one, as is Big City Life by Australian DJ Luude and Mattafix (9).
Outside the Top 10, US R&B artist and former The Internet guitarist Steve Lacy rebounds three to Number 12 with Bad Habit, and Chris Brown’s Under The Influence rises seven to Number 14.
Tom Odell’s Another Love previously peaked at Number 10 in 2013, and now thanks to a viral performance by a busker in Leicester Square it soars 36 places to Number 20.
Armenian Eurovision finalist Rosa Linn hits another new peak today with Snap (21), Arctic Monkeys vault 12 places with comeback track There’d Better Be A Mirrorball (26), and Swedish rock band Ghost’s Mary on a Cross is up five (28).
The 1975 score this week’s highest new entry, as I’m In Love With You debuts at Number 29, their first Top 40 single in two years.
There are further new peaks for Fred again.. and Swedish House Mafia’s Turn On The Lights Again (30), Afrobeats hitmaker Oxlade and his rising hit Ku Lo Sa – A Colors Show (32) and Harry Styles’ latest Harry’s House track Matilda (37).
Lizzo’s latest single 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) enters the Top 40 for the first time today. Produced by Max Martin, the track rises to Number 38, giving Lizzo her fourth Top 40 single. Finally, UK rappers Bugzy Malone & Mist rise six places into the Top 40 with Energy, finishing the week at Number 39.

The up-tempo track - produced by TMS - is currently on track to become the Scottish star’s third chart-topping hit on the Official Singles Chart, following Someone You Loved (2019) and Before You Go (2019).
Nicki Minaj’s Super Freaky Girl is looking to rise to a new peak of Number 5, following the release of its candy-coloured music video and a Queens Remix featuring a cacophony of female rappers like City Girls’ JT and BIA.

Forget Me, Lewis' first single in nearly three years, is the third song to debut at Number 1 in 2022.
Not that you’ve forgotten, but Lewis Capaldi is back. Today sees the Scottish singer-songwriter clinch his third UK Number 1 single with Forget Me.
Forget Me debuts at the top of the Official Singles Chart with chart units of over 56,000. It’s Lewis’ third chart-topper following Someone You Loved (2019) and Before You Go (2020)
Both the most physically-purchased and digitally downloaded single of the week in the UK, Forget Me marks Lewis’ first chart entry in nearly three years, as well as the third Number 1 debut of 2022; after Dave’s Starlight and Harry Styles with As It Was.
The synth-flavoured anthem is the first taste of Lewis’ second album, the follow-up to the blockbuster million-seller Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.
Speaking exclusively to OfficialCharts.com, Lewis said (and prepare for some good old Scottish sarcasm here): "I can't thank everyone enough for doing this with me and getting it to this point, even though I did most of the work myself!
"This one goes out to all of you, the people who love me, and especially to my enemies. May you all perish in flames and know nothing but eternal suffering."
Thank you Lewis Capaldi for, as ever, having such a delicate way with words.
Elsewhere this week, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha hold steady at Number 2 with I’m Good (Blue), as Nicki Minaj’s Super Freaky Girl sashays up to a new peak of Number 5 and Chris Brown gains his first UK Top 10 single in two years with Under The Influence (9).
Tom Odell’s Another Love continues to find a second wind in 2022, rising four to Number 16 after a viral busking video helped re-introduce the track to the wider public. Originally released in 2012, it peaked at Number 10 on the Official Singles Chart.
Three staples of the Official Afrobeats Chart reach new peaks today; Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran are up two with For My Hand (22), Oxlade’s Ku Lo Sa – A Colors Show jumps eight (24), and Rema’s Calm Down cracks the UK Top 40 for the first time, flying 16 places following the release of a remix featuring Selena Gomez (35).
Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot continues to hit new heights with his breakthrough hit All For You rising three places (28), Lizzo embraces her feels on the Max Martin produced 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) which swoons up four to a new peak (34).
Alesso and Zara Larsson’s long-trending collaboration Words finally enters the Top 40 for the first time this week (37) giving Zara her first UK Top 40 hit in three years.
Following a viral trend across social media, Beyoncé’s Cuff It struts up twenty places to re-enter at Number 38 and finally, British duo Seafret gain their first Official Top 40 hit with Atlantis (40). Originally released in 2015, the track has found a second life thanks to TikTok.

The Eiffel 65-sampling summer smash is a chart-topper, and Bebe's 'never been happier'
Summer 2022’s dance music domination continues this week, as David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s collaboration I’m Good (Blue) surges to the summit.
The infectious track, which samples Italian EDM outfit Eiffel 65’s 1999 smash Blue (Da Ba Dee) entered the Top 10 three weeks ago and has proved an earworm ever since, climbing all the way to Number 1 today, racking up over 5.4 million streams this week, and also earning the title of biggest digital download of the week.
I’m Good (Blue) becomes David’s seventh UK Number 1 single, and his first since Lovers On The Sun ft. Sam Martin eight years ago, while it marks Bebe’s first-ever chart-topper. Featuring 46 Top 40 singles including 29 Top 10s, explore David Guetta’s full Official Chart history here.
Celebrating her success, Bebe Rexha tells OfficialCharts.com: “An Official UK Number 1 has always been on my bucket list, because I respect the UK music scene so much. I feel like you’re always so open to new sounds. Honestly, I’ve never been happier.
“I just want to say thank you so much to the UK. I’m shocked. I’m so excited, so blessed. Thanks so much for supporting the record.”
Elsewhere, Wirral-born DJ James Hype and Miggy Dela Rosa’s unstoppable Ferrari zooms to a new peak this week (6), as does Chris Brown’s Under The Influence (8). Just outside the Top 10, Steve Lacy's Bad Habit rises two to Number 11.
This week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of Anne-Marie and Aitch, with their cutting collaboration PSYCHO debuting at Number 16.
As BORN PINK tops the Official Albums Chart, K-pop superstars BLACKPINK score their eighth UK Top 40 single with Shut Down this week (24). Meanwhile, previous single PINK VENOM rises nine spots (38). See BLACKPINK’s Official most-streamed songs in the UK so far here.
Pittsburgh singer-songwriter Montell Fish marks his first-ever UK Top 40 appearance with new entry Hotel (27), landing just ahead of Lizzo’s 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready), up six places more to Number 28. Afrobeats star Rema also earns a new high placing with Calm Down (32).
Finally, prolific West London hitmaker Central Cee bags a seventh Top 40 single this year alone with LA Leakers Freestyle (40).

Can Unholy un-seat David Guetta & Bebe Rexha’s I’m Good (Blue)?
Sam Smith and Kim Petras have entered the race for this week’s UK Number 1 single. Their new team-up Unholy currently looks set to be this week’s highest new entry (2) but has launched a very real challenge for Number 1.
They may be Good, but David Guetta and Bebe Rexha will have to certainly to work to maintain their chart-topping position for a second week – with just a handful of units separating them from Sam & Kim in our First Look, it’s still all to play for.
Luude and Mattafix could continue to rise up the Top 10 with Big City Life up to a new peak of Number 7.
Stormzy’s grand return with the epic 7-minute track Mel Made Me Do It sent shockwaves through social media over the weekend thanks to its inspiring music video. It’s pacing to debut at Number 12.
Lizzo is ready 2 Be Loved with her next big hit. The charismatic Max Martin produced new track could get its biggest lift so far, up six to a new peak of Number 22.
The Official Singles Chart Top 100 is revealed on OfficialCharts.com every Friday at 5.45pm. Follow the Top 40 countdown live on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart show with Jack Saunders.

It's Sam's eighth UK Number 1, and Kim's first.
Sam Smith and Kim Petras make a divine debut at the top of the Official Singles Chart with Unholy.
Despite trailing in second place midweek behind David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, the juddering club track materialises at Number 1, racking up 5.9 million streams and gifting Sam Smith their eighth Number 1 single - putting them in line with Oasis and The Rolling Stones - and Kim Petras her first-ever UK chart topper.
Sam’s previous Number 1s are; La La La with Naughty Boy (2013), Money On My Mind (2014), Stay With Me (2014), Lay Me Down feat. John Legend (2015), Writing’s On The Wall (2015), Too Good At Goodbyes (2017) and Promises with Calvin Harris (2018). See all of Sam's hit songs and albums on their Official Chart history.
Speaking exclusively to OfficialChart.com, Kim Petras said: "I just want to say thank you Sam and thank you everyone for listening to the song!"

Elsewhere in the Top 10, there are new peaks from Chris Brown’s Under The Influence (7) and Luude & Mattafix with Big City Life (8). Steve Lacy finally sees Bad Habit (9) enter the Top 10, becoming the artist’s first Top 10 hit in the UK.
At Number 12, Stormzy makes a big return with Mel Made Me Do It. Clocking in at 7 mins 20 seconds, it’s the rapper’s 25th Top 40 single, and first since 2021 Dave collab Clash.
Anne-Marie & Aitch climb three to a new peak of 13 with Psycho, Beyoncé rebounds six with Cuff It which returns to its previous high of Number 14, and Burna Boy lifts to Number 20 with For My Hand ft. Ed Sheeran. Just behind at Number 21 is Lizzo with 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) which jumps seven places.
D-Block Europe are up next with three brand new entries following the release of their new album Lap 5; 4 The Win is at 23, while Burna Boy collab She’s Not Anyone debuts at Number 30, and Conor McGregor is at Number 39. As a result the duo’s total number of Top 40 singles now stands at 26.
Rema in one of the highest climbers of the week, up seven places with Calm Down (25) and Fred again.. & Swedish House Mafia with Turn On The Lights Again (33). Alesso and Zara Larsson climb to a new high with Words (36), and indie duo Seafret return to the Top 40 with Atlantis (38).

Sam and Kim's monster hit - which has transcended its TikTok virality - reigns atop the Official Singles Chart for a second week
Sam Smith and Kim Petras fly into a second week at Number 1 with Unholy.
After a close fight to the finish last week, Unholy finishes comfortably ahead on this week’s Official Singles Chart, clocking up 6.6 million streams to keep its place at the top, keeping David Guetta & Bebe Rexha’s I’m Good (Blue) at Number 2 for a second week.
This week’s highest new entry comes from Ed Sheeran with new Pokémon single Celestial, debuting at Number 6 to become Ed’s landmark 40th Top 10 and 57th Top 40 hit. Celestial is by far the most-bought track of the week, leading on CD single, and will appear in the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games to be released later this year. See all of Ed’s hit singles and albums here.
Beyonce climbs four to enter the Top 10 with Cuff It (10), a new peak for the song and Bey’s 21st Top 10 hit in the UK. Moving closer to the top flight is Anne Marie with Psycho ft. Aitch (12) which has been climbing steadily since its release three weeks ago, while Burna Boy sees For My Hand ft. Ed Sheeran earn a new peak too (19).
Lizzo’s 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) enters the Top 20 to become her fourth Top 20 single (20). Rema climbs four to another new peak with Calm Down (21), and Cian Ducrot’s All For You (23) is up six to a new peak.
A second brand new entry comes in next from KSI, with Summer Is Over debuting at Number 24. The single becomes singer and rapper KSI’s 17th UK Top 40 hit. Arctic Monkeys follow at Number 26 with another brand new entry, Body Paint.
Three tracks firmly on the up round off this week’s chart. 17-year-old rising star D4VD jumps ten to Number 31 with Romantic Homicide; 21-year-old Kent native Venbee and Drum & Bass producer Goddard see their party anthem Messy In Heaven fly 15 places at Number 38, and finally American singer-songwriter Jax ascends five places to Number 39 with Victoria’s Secret.

The top hits of 2022 including Harry Styles' As It Was, Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran's Peru and more
Harry Styles’ As It Was continues to reign supreme as the Official biggest single of 2022 so far in the UK, the Official Charts Company can reveal.
The lead track from Harry’s third solo album Harry’s House, As It Was totalled a mammoth 10 weeks atop the Official Singles Chart earlier this year, making it the longest-running Number 1 of 2022 to date. The single holds its place as the biggest song in the country since 2022's second quarter, when it dethroned Encanto soundtrack phenomenon We Don't Talk About Bruno.
With over 1.3 million combined chart units so far, driven by an impressive 149.6 million streams, As It Was boasts the accolade of the being most-streamed track of the year so far, too. The single is also the most physically purchased (12,000 units) and digitally downloaded (47,000 units) song of the year-to-date in the UK.
With such impressive numbers, will it hold on to be crowned the year's biggest track overall?
Afrobeats star Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran stay strong in second place on the year-to-date list. While Peru peaked at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart, it remains ahead Encanto's We Don’t Talk About Bruno, the track that kept it off the top spot, year-to-date. Boasting 122 million streams, the track has undeniably helped promote Afrobeats as one of the biggest rising genres in the UK.
Ed Sheeran logs a total of three entries in the Top 10; alongside Peru, two Number 1 hits Bad Habits (3) and Shivers (5) also prove among the UK's Official biggest tracks of 2022 so far. Elsewhere, he can be found with Camila Cabello collaboration Bam Bam (25), Overpass Graffiti (33) and 2Step (38).
Cat Burns’ Go vaults up to Number 4, a chart breakthrough which gave the singer-songwriter her first ever Top 10 single, two years after Go's original release (thank you, TikTok!)
Speaking to OfficialCharts.com earlier this year about Go’s success, Cat Burns says: “If someone told me Go was going to be in the Top 10 of the Official Singles Chart, let alone the unbelievable success it has brought to me as an artist a year ago, I would’ve laughed! The song has taken on a life of its own and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s support.”
Kate Bush’s 2022 chart revival saw the singer break several Official Charts Records earlier this year with 1985 classic Running Up That Hill.
Now, the Stranger Things anthem owns its place as one of the biggest tracks of 2022 to date, 37 years after its original 1985 release. The single stands at Number 6 on our year-to-date list, having also been crowned the UK's Official Song of the Summer recently.
Rounding out the Top 10, we have Glass Animals' long-burning hit Heat Waves (7), Lost Frequencies and Calum Scott's dance smash Where Are You Now (8) and Sam Fender's rock anthem Seventeen Going Under (10).
Former Number 1 smash We Don’t Talk About Bruno, the Encanto mega-hit, places at Number 9, but is still the fourth most-streamed track of the year so far (120 million), massively bolstered by its video streams (38 million), the most of any track in 2022.
Just outside the Top 10, we see Dave's former Number 1 Starlight (12), closely followed by Scottish DJ duo LF SYSTEM with mammoth breakthrough single Afraid To Feel (14), which topped the Official Singles Chart for eight weeks this summer and gifted the lads the longest-running dance Number 1 of the decade.
Other major tracks from 2022 to make the list include Aitch & Ashanti's summer bop Baby (16), Australian DJ Luude and Men At Work's Colin Hay's Down Under (18) and Lizzo's euphoric About Damn Time (21).
The lowest-charting song to make the end-of-quarter list is Tate McRae's brilliant pop-punk kiss-off She's All I Wanna Be (34), which peaked at Number 14 on the Official Singles Chart. Produced by hitmaker Greg Kurstin, you can read our interview with Tate about the creation of the song here.

The latest figures are in - and the likes of Beyoncé, Luude and Mattafix and Tom Grennan all look set to score new peaks
Sam Smith and Kim Petras look set to secure a third consecutive week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart, with Unholy leading the charge at the midway mark.
Beyoncé could see CUFF IT claim a brand-new peak this week, with the RENAISSANCE album cut climbing to Number 6 in the latest update.
Aitch also eyes new peaks for two of his tracks. His Anne-Marie collaboration PSYCHO looks likely to lift four spots into the Top 10 for the first time (8), while Ed Sheeran team-up My G could climb three places (13).
Aussie DJ Luude and Mattafix’s Big City Life sees strong uplift at the midweek mark, possibly breaking into the Top 10 for the first time (9).
Other tracks set to score new peaks include Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran cut For My Hand (15), Tom Grennan’s All These Nights (16), Lizzo’s infectious 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) (18), Cian Ducrot’s slow-burning hit All For You (19) and Rema’s Calm Down (20).

Unholy retains the top spot for a third week, but could Beyonce's CUFF IT pose a threat next week?
Sam Smith and Kim Petras reign atop the Official Singles Chart for a third consecutive week with their hit Unholy.
The track now levels with Sam’s 2017 single Too Good At Goodbyes as their second-longest-running Number 1 hit, with both songs boasting three consecutive weeks at the top. But could Beyoncé give the pair a run for their money next week?
The star’s latest single CUFF IT (5) jumps five spots to break the Top 5 for the first time this week in the track’s eleventh week on chart after proving a viral smash on social media.
Elsewhere, Anne-Marie and Aitch’s PSYCHO continues its ascent up the Official Singles Chart to bag a new best, breaking the Top 10 for the first time (9). It’s Aitch’s first of three appearances in this week’s Top 40, with Ed Sheeran collaboration My G (14) and Tion Wayne team-up Let’s Go making its debut (30).
The TikTok effect sees Tom Odell’s Another Love lift 5 spots to Number 13 this week after the song began trending alongside protest videos, including by Iranian women in response to the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. Another Love rises to its highest chart peak since July 2013.
A flurry of singles boast new peaks throughout this week’s Top 20; Lizzo’s 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) (16), Afrobeats star Rema’s Calm Down (17), Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran’s For My Hand (18) and Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot’s All For You (19). Venbee and Goddard’s trending track Messy In Heaven continues to rocket up the chart, vaulting 18 spots (20).
American songwriter d4vd sees his single Romantic Suicide rise to Number 22, while the week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of Mimi Webb. Her latest track Ghost Of You, taken from upcoming debut album Amelia, makes a strong start at Number 23. Oliver Tree and Robin Schulz also boast a new Top 40 entry with Miss You (28).
Other tracks on the ascent and enjoying new peaks this week are Fred Again.. and Swedish House Mafia’s Turn On The Lights Again (27), Omar Apollo’s Evergreen (You Didn’t Deserve Me At All), Jax’s breakout single Victoria’s Secret (33), Warm by K-Trap (34), and All These Nights leaps 27 places for Tom Grennan (37).
Dermot Kennedy’s latest single Kiss Me proves to be one to watch as it soars up the chart, jumping 14 to a new Number 39 best, becoming his sixth Top 40 hit. And finally, Lil Nas X sees Star Walkin’ become his seventh UK Top 40 hit to date after climbing two to Number 40.

Will Sam and Kim make it four weeks at the top, or can Anne-Marie and Aitch pose a threat with PSYCHO?
Sam Smith and Kim Petras look set to claim a fourth consecutive week atop the Official Singles Chart with Unholy, as the track leads the charge at the midweek mark.
But it’s my no means a done deal, as Anne-Marie and Aitch’s PSYCHO eyes an ascent into the Top 5 this week. In its fifth week on the chart, could their collaboration prove a contender for Number 1?
Stormzy looks set to secure this week’s highest new entry, with Hide & Seek tracking for a Number 9 debut.
Oliver Tree & Robin Schulz see their bouncy dance banger Miss You break the Top 20 for the first time, vaulting 16 spots midweek (12). Will it manage to make the Top 10 this Friday?
blink-182’s newly-reunited original line-up – Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge - could return to the Official Singles Chart Top 20 with EDGING this week (15), as Central Cee also looks set to enjoy a new entry with One Up (17).
The Official Singles Chart Top 100 is revealed on OfficialCharts.com every Friday at 5.45pm. Follow the Top 40 countdown live on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart show with Jack Saunders.
