Such a great album. Can't believe it's been 10 years already. What a wild ride it has been. I hated 2011, but Born This Way really got me through some tough times that year.

I haven’t checked anywhere though but I wonder how large scale it’ll be. I’m half expecting some spoken word recordings “inspired by” songs on the album and stuff but who knows. |

Her team should update her fans on Chromatica Tour, whether it's happening or will be postponed. There's no way Europe can hold stadium concerts this summer though, maybe US concerts will go ahead.

No kidding. I did book the time off in August for the Toronto show that I have tickets for - but I don’t expect it to go ahead again this year. Maybe they’re waiting to see because things are changing kind of quickly now with vaccines and such but I’d need to book flight and hotel before then. I’m dreading the refund process though if it comes to that though. |

The 10th Anniversary Edition of Born This Way is up for preorder on her website. The first track revealed is Big Freedia’s version of “Judas” and it SLAPS.
Hopefully it’ll be available for preorder on Amazon tomorrow.

I have very, very good tickets for two shows. GaGa holds my financial future 😂 Honestly, the Chromatica era feels exhausted now. It ended with a limp and the last single was nearly a year ago. The "Fashion of His Love" erasure in this godforsaken world remains criminal. Such a strong track. Forever gives me 80s pop, Whitney Houston "How Will I Know" vibes.
Cannot believe it's been a decade since this album came out. I remember watching her announce/sing the title on the VMAs in her meat dress like it was yesterday.

Still feel like Gaga gave up on the Chromatica era way too soon, regardless of the pandemic. A lot of people like Taylor, Miley, Dua, Harry Styles and The Weeknd found creative ways to carry on during the strict lockdowns... Gaga gave us the VMAs and... that was it. Even "Rain on Me" partner Ari launched an era towards the end of the year.

What I recall, the era was supposed to be more spring heavy with Coachella and stuff, and then the tour in late summer, because she had other projects lined up for later. But considering how straightforward DANCE and electronic the album is, I highly doubt that the songs could've been bigger hits with just promo. (It was still BY FAR the biggest dance/EDM album of 2020). Also, it hasn't been her style to go around and perform everywhere since Joanne era. With the megastardom of her calibre (she is allegedly the most famous artist in the US right now), it's wise to keep the lower profile and make the appearances more of like events. Just my thoughts. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of Sour Candy video. It could've done something. |
