Seems to be a common theme here with Katy Perry. Both Kesha and Lady Gaga have said she is mean (at least in Feb. 2016) and Taylor Swift had issues with her too prior to that. I wonder why so many female artists have seem to have had issues with her at some point? Hmmm. Maybe Witness was karma for her behavior behind the scenes. lol Yet her and Rihanna have always been great friends and very friendly, so I don't think its fair that a few isolated issues is enough to assume that she isn't friendly and nice to her peers. And as for the whole Taylor thing, without getting into it too much I think it was clear that Taylor had more of an issue with Katy then Katy ever did with her. Also Gaga seemed eager to clear this whole situation up with a tweet Katy responded to so I think its clear that all these woman have moved past any silly drama that the media made out to be much worse then it actually is, for the sake of a few clicks. |

Well three separate celebrities seems more than an isolated incident to me, and I am unsure how her being friends with one star clears things up, but ok. I know Gaga was quick to clear things up now as well, but that doesn't mean she never had issues with her (which she clearly did). Also, Taylor's issue with Katy wasn't simply the dancers situation, she also insinuated other things went on behind the scenes at award shows and such. Don't wanna go too far off topic from Gaga though so I won't comment further. I just saw a pattern emerging and found it interesting. lol |

Honestly those messages are overblown. The way everyone is talking about them you’d think Gaga buried Katy just to dig her up and expose the skeleton, but more realistically it’s probably prettier than that. Katy f**ked over Taylor and probably left Gaga on read a few times, I don’t believe she’s a witch anymore than I believed Taylor was fostering a new-feminist cult of Trumpettes to take over the world.

It’s entirely possible for perfectly normal high functioning people to both have friends and also not get along with other perfectly normal high functioning people who also have friends. Of course. No one is arguing the contrary. I doubt anyone thinks Katy is an awful person or some evil Disney-esq villain...lol. Personally, I was just curious as to what caused her beef with the three separate women and if it speaks to behavior we may not necessarily attribute to her. Simple curiosity. Anyways, glad Gaga cleared everything up. |

Finally saw A Star Is Born last night! overall I thought it was a well-made impressive debut for Gaga and Cooper(her acting and his directing). Her character was undeveloped but she did great with it and gave a warm natural performance which is exactly what was needed. I think the writing and directing all centered around Bradley's performance and character development (this is a vanity project through and through) and it hurt the film in the 2nd half because Ally became more of an afterthought.
It was pretty much what I would expect from a film like this and I enjoyed it more than I expected. It made me want to see more of her acting wise. I wouldn't give her the Oscar for this but if Sandra Bullock can win one for The Blind Side anything is possible. If she wins I won't be mad but I'd rather her have a true Cher like acting career which would mean winning an Oscar after a previous nomination and several other acclaimed roles.

LMAO everyone including her stans (and especially them/us) thinks what Gaga says is just funny because people tend to repeat things in interviews, some people are too pressed.
Considering Bobby C who is deep in the gay universe, is her manager, she must well be aware of the joke.

Couple of comments on the whole Gaga, Katy, Kesha and Dr Ew thing:
- I think Katy -like Rihanna- has an acid, sour sense of humor that may take a while to get, and thus may come across as mean spirited, so I can fully understand the perception of mean Katy by the likes of Kesha, Gaga and Taylor.
- I HATE this move by Dr Ew’s team that once again tries to divert attention from the main issues that should be the center of discussion -sexual harassment, abuse, rape- to gossip stories that try to portray a bad image of 2 female singers sharing real concerns and just slightly talking about the meanness of one — hysterical, gossipy, unscrupulous women!!! Argh! And websites and people are buying into this shit of a story! SMH! Let’s not give more space to that spinning of the story. (Maybe Dr Ew is still lurking around here as he used to be a poster in my first years in Pulse.) Let’s focus on the issue of potential abuse that happened with Kesha or others, and how this cowardly move shows another low point for Dr Ew’s team
