Congrats to Gaga and Bradley. For all of the accolades this movie has received, I still have no desire to see it. I may give it a try when it makes it's way to cable.

I am happy she is being recognized for her vocals but I want something that has more life in it, lol. I guess what I really want from is r&b lite along the lines of do what u want or classic pop gaga. |

I do not think she will win Best Actress here. She would have had a better shot if she was nominated in the Musical / Comedy category. Bradley cooper has a good shot though. |

All the odds trackers have her as the favorite to win, on par with Bradley Cooper's odds. Her only competition is Olivia Colman in The Favourite (which was actually my favorite performance of the year...) and Glenn Close in The Wife. Other competition has kind of fallen by the wayside. EDIT: I see you're talking about the GG, not the Oscars. Even so, I think she has an even better chance at GG given that Olivia Colman isn't in her category. |

So happy for her grammy noms! Love seeing Gaga in the General Field again after all these years!  The last two years have been so incredible for her career. She went from looking like a burn-out and was a joke to now being more respected than she's ever been and reaching new career heights. Queen bounced back harder than anyone would imagine. She may not ever go back to getting a consecutive top 10 hits and being the biggest pop-star on the planet, but she's established herself as a force in the entertainment industry in terms of acting/touring/album sales/awards and still has the potential to get a big hit when the song is right. Can't wait for her next album to come out. |
