Also, I may have expressed this before but I don't get God's Plan. Of all of Drake's major hits, this one is the most confusing.

I get that a lot of people don't like Perfect or are tired of seeing it near the top for whatever reason, but if I could say something about this, which actually doesn't apply specifically to Perfect so much as to all songs and music in general, because we all have our favorites, but for me, I have the opposite reaction as Rose to Perfect, where even though I've heard it six trillion times on the radio, I haven't tired of it and every time it comes on it still feels like the first and I am still craving to hear it! I"m sure we all have songs like that, whether it be Perfect or Havana or God's Plan or Uptown Funk or Rolling in the Deep... This is the magic of music and why we all love the charts so much. To see our favorites do so well and achieve such high visibility and love by the public!

Now, having said that, I wouldn't be completely heartbroken if Perfect were to vacate the region soon and make room for new songs

Bruno's #1, imo. It's like comparing Usher and Eminem in the 2000s, I'll choose the guy with the biggest hits, but if both release a song in the same week, with the same promo, video, etc. I think the rapper (2010s Drake, 2000s Eminem) would win easily.

I get that a lot of people don't like Perfect or are tired of seeing it near the top for whatever reason, but if I could say something about this, which actually doesn't apply specifically to Perfect so much as to all songs and music in general, because we all have our favorites, but for me, I have the opposite reaction as Rose to Perfect, where even though I've heard it six trillion times on the radio, I haven't tired of it and every time it comes on it still feels like the first and I am still craving to hear it! I"m sure we all have songs like that, whether it be Perfect or Havana or God's Plan or Uptown Funk or Rolling in the Deep... This is the magic of music and why we all love the charts so much. To see our favorites do so well and achieve such high visibility and love by the public!

Now, having said that, I wouldn't be completely heartbroken if Perfect were to vacate the region soon and make room for new songs

Oh, don't get me wrong, there are totally songs that get overplayed that I can hear over and over again no problem. I think with Ed it just might be because Perfect, to me, is so close to Thinking Out Loud, and that song was, at the time, my least favourite of his, and I also tired of that one too. I didn't really tire of Shape Of You, though I don't mind not hearing that one again either. I love seeing Ed get so much success, though it's almost bittersweet because I feel that this new album is a HUGE step down from either of his other two.

^ Yeah now that I think of it Ed Sheeran is one of those artists who has very high replay value for me because his hits tend to be very sweeping and recognizable but not enough to be annoyingly catchy, at least for me. There are some though that burned out fairly quickly for me, such as Don't and Photograph.

"Zombie" is the chart's top debut, while Swift claims a solo share of 10th place for the most Hot 100 entries all-time.

As previously reported, Drake's "God's Plan" leads the Billboard Hot 100 chart for an eighth week, a run that encompasses the song's entire time on the survey, dating to its debut at No. 1.

Plus, Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line's "Meant to Be" rises 5-4 on the Hot 100, marking a new career-best rank for Rexha. FGL matches its highest placement, first set by the duo's debut hit "Cruise" in 2013.

Who else makes notable Hot 100 chart moves this week?

"It's about honoring her legacy. We love The Cranberries," Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext says of the late Dolores O'Riordan.

Her band's classic "Zombie" spent six weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart in 1994. Bad Wolves had recorded its cover and sent it to O'Riordan, who replied that she wanted to sing on it. She was set to add her vocals on Jan. 15, but died that day in London at age 46. On Jan. 19, the group released its version, with partial proceeds benefiting O'Riordan's family.

Fueled by continued appreciation for her music, which has inspired viral videos of fans singing the alternately brooding and explosive, and socially-conscious, song, Bad Wolves' cover enters the Hot 100 at No. 54, the week's highest debut. It surges 27-2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, up 189 percent to 44,000 downloads sold in the week ending March 15, according to Nielsen Music. It also drew 5.1 million U.S. streams (up 27 percent), while its 1.7 million rock radio impressions (up 42 percent) spark its No. 40 debut on Rock Airplay.

Bad Wolves, who formed in 2017, will release their debut album, Disobey, May 18.

"The fact that all these people are falling in love with the song for the first, or second, time is a testament to her songwriting, and her timelessness," Vext says of O'Riordan. "Her work is carrying on."

Following the March 11 premiere of its official video, the fourth proper single from Reputation gains by 416 percent to 6.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending March 15 and enters the Hot 100 at No. 84.

The set's lead single, "Look What You Made Me Do," spent three weeks at No. 1; "…Ready for It?" reached No. 4; and "End Game," featuring Ed Sheeran and Future, rose to No. 18. Two other songs have hit the top 40: "Gorgeous" (No. 13) and "Call It What You Want" (No. 27).

With the bow of "Delicate," Swift breaks out of a tie with Ray Charles to claim 10th place all to herself for the most entries in the Hot 100's 59-year history. Here's an updated count of the acts with the most visits:

Drake's 'God Plan' Tops Digital Song Sales Chart, But With Lowest Total for a No. 1 Since 2005

The week's top seller dips below 50,000 for the first time since Dec. 31, 2005.

For the first time in just over 12 years, the week's top-selling song sold fewer than 50,000 downloads.

Drake's "God's Plan" leads Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart (dated March 24) for a sixth total week with 49,000 downloads sold in the week ending March 15, according to Nielsen Music. That marks the lowest total for a No. 1 since the chart dated Dec. 31, 2005, when Mariah Carey's "Don't Forget About Us" ruled with 39,000.

Downloads were still relatively new in 2005, the year that the Billboard began incorporating their sales into the weekly Billboard Hot 100, on the chart dated that Feb. 12. That week brought the lowest total for a Digital Song Sales No. 1 since, as Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" led with 31,000.

Nielsen Music started tracking digital song sales in 2003, the same year that Apple's iTunes Store launched.

("Plan" peaked with 127,000 downloads sold in its debut week, on charts dated Feb. 3.)

As recently as two years ago, Adele set the record for the most downloads sold in a week: 1.11 million for "Hello" (Nov. 14, 2015). The smash stands as an anomaly, however, as, previously, Flo Rida's "Right Round" had held the mark of 636,000, logged on the chart dated Feb. 28, 2009. (Concurrent with the record-setting frame for "Hello," parent album 25 launched at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with a Nielsen-era record 3.38 million copies sold in the U.S.)

The latest sum for "Plan" further reflects the decline of download sales, as streaming continues to surge. Notably, "Plan" tops the Streaming Songs chart with 59.6 million U.S. streams in the week ending March 15, and all of the song's first eight weeks rank among the top 11 streaming weeks for any song all-time.

So far in 2018 (through the week ending March 15), digital song sales are down 27 percent compared to the same year-to-date point a year ago (99.3 million vs. 135.2 million, as of the week ending March 16, 2017).

Overall digital song sales totaled 554.82 million in 2017, down 23 percent compared to 2016 (724.04 million). 2017 marked the fifth straight year that digital song sales declined. That's an unsurprising distinction, considering how many consumers transitioned to enjoying music through streaming services instead of via purchasing albums and songs; overall on-demand streams (audio and video combined) climbed 43 percent in 2017 to 618.03 billion.

From 2004 through 2012, digital song sales grew on a yearly basis. The high-water mark for the format's sales was 2012, when song download sales total 1.336 billion.
