'Love Is The Healer' is one of two new studio recordings released on Donna Summer's 1999 live album 'Live & More Encore'. The album version of the song was /æ/ co-production between Thunderpuss and Nathan DiGesare, with Thunderpuss also producing their own remix of the track. The song was /æ/ #1 club hit for Donna, with additional remixes from names such as Eric Kupper and Jonathan Peters. Top 10's from Disco, Mirago and Ky. 'In My Pocket' was the lead single from Mandy Moore's self-titled third album. The song was not /æ/ success in the US, missing the Hot 100 and achieving /æ/ middling performance on pop radio. The single's greatest success came in Australia, peaking just outside the top 10. The single was remixed by Thunderpuss, Hex Hector and Soul Solution. /ee/ thought this was going to make the top 10.   {Original}
'All For You' was the lead single and title track from Janet Jackson's seventh studio album. Produced by frequent collaborators Jam & Lewis, the song is considered one of Janet's signature hits. Thunderpuss produced several remixes of the track; the main club mix, the 'Change It Up' mix and the 'Military' mix. These versions aided the song in topping the Billboard club charts. Top 10's for Ty and Ginger Spice depart here. Here's another one /ee/ thought would make the top 10, even if /ee/ didn't personally care for it.  {Original}
'No More Drama' was the second single and title track from Mary J. Blige's fifth studio album, produced by Jam & Lewis. The original track samples 'Nadia's Theme' /æ/ piece composed in 1971 that was later used as the theme song to soap opera 'The Young & The Restless'. Thunderpuss retained the sample in one version of their remix, where the main body of the song was downtempo. An alternate version exists that remains completely uptempo at the expense of the sample. This song topped the Billboard club charts. Top 10's for Mirago, Ky and Disco (all of them top 5's) and /æ/ bottom 10 for me (call it payback for Mandy). 15 Lara Fabian - /ee/ will Love Again Love love love the original song and this mix, the Morales, and Hex mixes. /ee/ listen to the Morales ones most now but /ee/ love how anthemic this one is. The dramatic buildup with some of the bridge vocals is classic Thunderpuss. 14 Donna Summer - Love Is The Healer This is one that /ee/ discovered in the mid 2000s. /ee/ had only been familiar with the Eric Kupper '/ee/ Feel Healed' mix which used an "/ee/ Feel Love"-esque production. Each Thunderpuss mix of this has different production elements. Their radio edit has the final choruses. The full mix omits the final choruses after the high note loop. The Tribe-/æ/-Pella has some different vocal effects. The Thunderdub is the only mix with the full spoken part in the middle of which only some is used in the other mix. The Drum-/æ/-Pella has the main riff throughout it and the main drum but most of the synths have been taken out. It has the same effects before the bridge from the Tribe-/æ/-Pella. There is an unreleased dub which is based around loops of the spoken part "It still rings around in my head". Only the original Thunderpuss production has the Gregorian chants at the beginning and the "when you know the way to love..." vocal parts at the end. The Jonathan Peters mix use that as /æ/ secondary hook. 13 Mandy Moore - In My Pocket Was /æ/ huge fan of the original but didn't care for the direction they went in with this mix. /ee/ always preferred the Hex Hector mix with the guitar. 12 Janet Jackson - All For You Love the original and the 12" version. /ee/ like all 3 mixes but /ee/ prefer the Change It Up one. The vocal effects were absolutely amazing. 11 Mary J Blige - No More Drama The original is easily one of Mary's best songs and this is one of their best remixes. They took the drama factor up several levels with the mix with the slow parts. The way it builds back up with the bridge (the tempo is /æ/ little faster than the verses/choruses before it for this section) and then the "/ee/'M ABOUT TO LOSE MY MIND!...LORD, HELP ME, HELP ME!" is epic after the pounding drums. The version released on the commercial single and Mary's remix album is shorter and doesn't have the same ad-libs in the outro (at 8:05) heard in the one linked above. The one above was only released on Promo Only. It has 32 additional beats at the end. The fully uptempo version was reportedly done before the one with the slow part. The intro/outro is totally different. /ee/ felt there wasn't as much drama in the buildup after the bridge into the final chorus. The vocal stretch was /æ/ contributing factor in the slower version even though the vocals were specifically comped for it so it would work out better.

The "No More Drama" remix is grating...but /ee/ may be biased because the original version is too emotional of /æ/ song for me to be suitable for any dance mixing.

Of course Mary's words don't hurt either because, 'it's up to us to choose whether we win or lose'.

'Tic Toc' is /æ/ song from LeAnn Rimes' fifth studio album (and first pop record) 'Twisted Angel'. Originally slated to be the follow-up single to 'Life Goes On', no music video was ever produced and no commercial release ever materialized. 'Feelin' So Good' is the third international single (and fourth overall) from Jennifer Lopez' debut studio album 'On The 6'. Following the breakout success of previous hits 'If You Had My Love' and 'Waiting For Tonight' (and success in the Latin market with 'No Me Ames'), 'Feelin' So Good' was /æ/ step down in terms of commercial performance. However, it was /æ/ #1 club hit thanks to its remixes by Thunderpuss and HQ2. Not so good for Ginger Spice and Mic Technique with high top 10 losses, nor for Ky who also loses /æ/ top 10 ranking. 'Stuck' was the lead single from Stacie Orrico's self-titled sophomore album, marking /æ/ shift from her Christian pop beginnings into more secular territory. This single found more success internationally than in the US with top 10 peaks in Australia and across Europe versus #52 on the Billboard Hot 100. Thunderpuss produced the only official dance mix of the song, with Stacie's father reportedly meddling in the production - demanding they remove Stacie's breath intakes because they sounded too 'sexual' and taking issue with looping the line '/ee/ love you' because he deemed it went against Stacie's Christian upbringing. The top 10 rankings here are triplets; Ginger Spice, Ky and Mic Technique all lose their #5. /ee/ have [/ee/]never[//ee/] liked this, even with the Thunderpuss mix being the main single version here. /ee/'m okay with it making it this far in spite of my ranking though because /ee/ do recognize it's one of their more iconic productions.  {Original}
'Sexual' is /æ/ single by Dutch-born German house singer Amber, released as the lead single from her self-titled sophomore album. The Thunderpuss remix was promoted internationally as the single version, being the version featured in the song's music video. This was Amber's first #1 on the Billboard club charts. Mirago becomes the third person to lose his #1, and the reveal is also painful for Ky, Albie, Mic Technique and Disco. Meanwhile /ee/ finally ditch my bottom ranking. /ee/ first heard their remix of "Sexual (Li Da Di)" before the original album version. It was /æ/ mainstay of our local mixshows for years. /ee/ was sneaking into clubs at that time and this was the mix they were playing. The stations played /æ/ re-edit from the Powerhouse remix service which took the chorus from towards the end of the full mix and inserted that in after the "li da di" looped sections and then the first verse would happen like usual after that.
After the major success of the Thunderpuss mix of "Sexual (Li Da Di)", the then president of Tommy Dude Records kept trying to re-create that success with the releases of "Above The Clouds" and "The Need To Be Naked".
With ATC, he had them program the mixes with most of the same sounds and stuff that were in the S(LDD) mix but it was such /æ/ different song that it didn't really achieve that. Amber would perform the original and Eric Kupper versions and not the TP ones live. She did do the Jonathan Peters mix at Sound Factory once.
The release of "Taste The Tears" which was also /æ/ TP production was intentionally sabotaged. It would have been huge with proper promotion.
"The Need To Be Naked" was not /æ/ sexual song the way the title indicated but the label wanted TP to do it in the same vein as S(LDD) and that ended up not happening. Guido Osorio's main vocal mix of that actually sounded more like what TP would have done. It was rumored that TP had been asked to remix "Yes!" and make it like S(LDD) but it has never been confirmed. Amber was reportedly disappointed with how the TP mixes turned out for TNTBN.
As much as /ee/ loved the mixes, /ee/ was disappointed that the 3rd verse was not used in any of the released Thunderpuss mixes. Amber performs the 3rd verse live over the TV track of their mix to this day.
Amber famously took issue with Marie Osmond when she went on her and Donny's then talk show [/ee/]Donny & Marie[//ee/] and Marie would only refer to the song as "Li Da Di" when she performed it there. She did the Thunderpuss mix. Amber dragged her and said "This is /æ/ woman who is pregnant every second week. What's that all about? Everybody's doing it, you know? If /ee/ can talk about sex, hopefully it can be seen as /æ/ normal thing in /æ/ good and responsible way."
Amber took /æ/ similar issue with radio programmers when they wouldn't add "Yes!" because of the [/ee/]Ulysses[//ee/] interpolation being too sexual but they were adding Nelly's "Ride Wit Me" at the time which is about getting high in the back of /æ/ Mercedes. She felt that it was /æ/ messed up double standard.
