Oooh, Coco Lee! I have her English single 'Do You Want My Love', underrated pop bop (and kinda flop lol) I loved that song! It was a local hit here. I loved the Hex mix of that.

Az Paynter I have also NEVER liked the Thunderpuss mix of "Sexual (Li Da Di)." The original album version is what I prefer and the Thunderpuss mix just felt so generic to me and ruined the sexiness of the original.

'Can't Fight The Moonlight' is a single by country singer LeAnn Rimes, released from the soundtrack to the film 'Coyote Ugly' as LeAnn's first foray into pop crossover territory. The song was a worldwide success scoring top 5's and #1's across Australia and Europe, and also stopping just shy of the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. With remixes by Thunderpuss, Almighty, Plasimc Honey and the Sharp Boys, the song was a top 10 club hit for LeAnn. This remix made the top 5 despite zero top 5 rankings, although it is host to five top 10 rankings, and its lowest rankings are in the mid-20's. 'Don't Tell Me' is the second single from Madonna's eighth studio album 'Music', originally demoed as a song called 'Stop' written by Madonna's brother-in-law Joe Henry. Madonna further worked on the song with producer Mirwais, with her final version differing quite drastically from the sound of Joe's original demo. The song was a major success across the world, and in the US in particular its top 5 peak tied her with the Beatles for the second-most number of top 10 hits (a record she would later break with 2008 single '4 Minutes'). The song was a #1 club hit for Madonna, with several remixes from the likes of Thunderpuss, Tracy Young, Victor Calderone, Richard Vission and Timo Maas. 'Don't Tell Me' ties 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' in points, and wins the tiebreaker with its top 5 ranking. All but one of its rankings are from the top half. 'I'm A Slave 4 U' is the lead single from Britney Spears' self-titled third album 'Britney'. The song was a step toward a more R&B/urban driven sound with production by Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. It was an international smash with top 10 peaks almost everywhere it charted; in the US it was not as successful with a peak of #27. It was, however, a top 5 hit on the club charts thanks to remixes by Thunderpuss, Miguel Migs and The Light. Six #1's remained in the top 3, but only five are in the top 2 with Ginger Spice being the next to lose his top ranked remix. Bat1990 clears his bottom 10 with this reveal. It's Whitney versus Tamia in the final two; there are five #1 rankings between them. Who has more? One song has a full set of top 10 rankings, the other has an #11. Which is which?

With 62 points separating #2 and #3, Britney never stood a chance.  {Original}
'It's Not Right, But It's Okay' was the lead single from Whitney Houston's fourth studio album 'My Love Is Your Love', produced by Rodney Jerkins. The original production was initially serviced to radio, but it was the Thunderpuss remix that became the hit version of the song. It racked up a significant tally of #1 peaks around the world, and was a US top 5 Hot 100 hit as well as topping the dance chart. The song featured additional remixes by Johnny Vicious and Club 69. This remix spent the entirety of the game stuck at #2 after its initial ranking, despite boasting the greater number of #1 rankings. ★Disco★ 1 Ky 1 Mic Technique 1 Ty 2 Albie 4 Az Paynter 5 Mirago 6 Ginger Spice 8 bat1990 11

'Stranger In My House' was the second single from Canadian singer Tamia's sophomore album 'A Nu Day', and was the singer's first and only top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also topped the club charts with its remixes by Thunderpuss, HQ2 and Maurice Joshua. This remix was #1 the entire time, from initial ranking to final position. Despite having less #1 rankings than Whitney, it took the win on account of its rankings being almost all top 5's. 5 - LeAnn Rimes - Can't Fight The Moonlight I was always a huge fan of the Almighty mix as the edit of that was the mix that several of the stations here played. The Hi Nrg/Trance nature of that was really nice. I discovered the Thunderpuss mix when a different radio station signed on in our market and that was the one they played. I love the buildups at the beginning with the riff and LeAnn's high notes. It's so well done. 4 - Madonna - Don't Tell Me This was a good one but I always preferred the other mix they did. I love the buildups though. 3 - Britney Spears - I'm A Slave 4 U Loved the original. The remix elevated this to a whole other level. I love the Hi Nrg/Italo Dance styled riff they had running throughout this. 2 - Whitney Houston - It's Not Right But It's Okay The original was pleasant enough but didn't wow me at the time. The remix is another stellar epic. They did such a great job on all the drama moments along with the lighter production during the verses. It is the mix that put them on the map and the radar of the industry. Amber and her label picked them to do "Sexual" based on the success of this mix. Their dub of this is really good too. The alternate break in it is genius. 1 - Tamia - Stranger In My House This is one instance where I heard the Thunderpuss remix before the original song. The mild mannered song is turned into a dramatic epic. The riff in the mix itself is iconic. The buildup to the bridge and even the drama within the bridge and the long loop of Tamia's high note leading into the key change of the final choruses is beyond brilliant. I also love the Thunderdub which is based mostly around the riff and some specific vocal loops and other stuff. It knocks. I also liked the Hex Hector & Mac Quayle mixes as they were really dark and over the top but not in the way that these were. Mike Rizzo also remixed it and it was a more Housey affair. Junior Vasquez did two private remixes of this that he played at Twilo. One was the straightforward Marathon mix with Joey Mosk programming. It wasn't as dramatic as those types of mixes were at the time but I felt there were some issues with the choice of keys during certain parts (they deviated from the standard melody of the song) and there was way too much reverb on the vocals in others. The other mix was more House-oriented a la the Gomi programmed mixes of Chante Moore's "Straight Up". Instead of a heavy guitar presence, those had prominent saxophone elements. Thanks for hosting Az Paynter!

Even though Slave was my #1, I can't really argue with the top 2, they're both classics. The entire top 5 is great, in fact. Thank you Az Paynter for hosting, it was a lot of fun!

INRBIO is not my favourite Whitney single but the remix blew the roof off gay AND straight clubs worldwide – a legendary moment for those who experienced it first hand.
Great winner. Thanks Az, more like this please.
