She's more of a streaming artist/radio artist anyway. Live performances won't make or break her. Interviews would help showcase some personality I guess. But she did manage quite a few shows before shit hit the fan so they should just roll with it. I think anyone that releases after her should postpone though. Weeknd and Dua were lucky to get a few promotional spots in.

I didn't listen to Madame X when it leaked, i'm not gonna listen to this either. Gonna wait for official Spotify release.

Yeah, I won't be listening to the leaks and I will try my best to avoid any snippets on my Instagram feed. I won't judge you if you did, though. Curiosity can get the best of us sometimes, especially when the subject in question is such a hyped album like "Future Nostalgia". So glad to know she didn't disappoint though 😍 I still feel guilty for doing so, but at least it won't hurt her since I already pre-ordered the entire album. I just got a little too eager to hear it. Trust me, she didn't disappoint at all. "Levitating" is a song I could see being played at school dances, clubs, clothing stores, and weekend parties. The bridge is the best part! UPDATE: "Boys Will Be Boys" sounds so out-of-place on the album. Don't get me wrong, its a good song but it just doesn't execute the 80's theme of the entire record. It sounds like a mix of "Sweet but Psycho" and another song I can't get off the tip of my tongue.

Ouch, that sucks. This album should have been out a long time ago, the release date was always ridiculous to me.

I WILL NOT be ruining my one-time experience and WILL be waiting for the album, period. Temptations will not get the best of me, this time.

I agree. I am really tired of these artists that release the lead single and the album more than 3 months apart.

Instagram is being such a mess. We have people begging others to report posts sharing leaks while others are nonchalantly talking about their favorite songs and what each of them sound like.
Here's a tip for all of you who want to save the surprises for the official release date: if you want to browse on social media, do so with the sound off, and avoid any mentions of Dua Lipa/Future Nostalgia not coming from her account.
And speaking of which, she will be holding a livestream tomorrow on Instagram.

I want Dua's next album to have a reggae-fusion type of sound. Very euro-pop or ska, like something you'd hear from No Doubt or Ace of Base.

For any of you who want song descriptions to know what to expect: {Spoiler Descriptions} -Cool: This one is such a grower , very very catchy, that type of song that gets stuck un your head without noticing. very 80s, i definitely can see tove lo singing this. -Levitating: Single alert! This one is such a bop , like Don Start Now’s bigger sister. The chorus is very sing along-ish and there are some vocoder effects that remind of Daft Punk -Pretty Please: This is the Julia Michaels co-write and it doesn’t sound like one? I guess its a victory! It’s very chill-groovy and sexy, bass is very predominant. Reminds me of Selena’s Dance Again (but better) -Hallucinate: This is a banger, four on the flor beat. Catchy as hell. -Love Again: Single Alert! The sample is genius, very melancholic dancey kind of song, follows the disco sound of “break my heart” super catchy. This album is fantastic. -Break My Heart: Single Alert! The perfect follow up to DSN, continues the disco sound. I can see this becoming a huge hit. -Good in bed: Sounds like a Lily Allen song. Not my favourite, but it’s catchy, not bad. -Boys will be Boys: This is definitely my least favourite, i would have replaced it with the Normani song. It’s not bad.

The entire album is perfect EXCEPT the final track indeed. It doesn't fit the album at all especially sonically. It's still a good song though.
{Spoiler} From the chill bop "Pretty Please" to "Love Again"s crazy intro, outro & overall production to Fever/COADF-esque "Hallucinate" to the MASTERPIECE that is "Levitating". She definitely topped herself. All the songs have hit potentials if you ask me. "Levitating" must happen as an official single at some point.
Future Nostalgia 10 Don't Start Now 10 Cool 11 Physical 10 Levitating 11 Pretty Please 11 Hallucinate 11 Love Again 11 Break My Heart 10 Good In Bed 7 Boys Will Be Boys 8

The chorus is just very cheesy, especially with her trying to put each word into syllables.

Brian Cantor, Headline Planet: Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” unsurprisingly adds another week to its reign as the top song at pop radio.
Played ~19,250 times during the March 15-21 tracking period, “Don’t Start Now” enjoys a fifth week at #1 on the Mediabase pop chart. This week’s spin count actually tops last week’s mark by 352, signaling the tune’s ongoing resonance.

It's actually a grower though and a fun song, my score for it will probably rise soon!

Caved and got the leak. Wouldn't usually these days but there are EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES.
Can confirm Vogue AUS was right - "Furthermore, it slaps."
Last track doesn't fit in at all but I enjoy it as a song.

The way "Future Nostalgia" is already the year's best album and its still not officially* out yet. The GP isn't ready.

This album f**ked me up. It's literally one of the best pop albums in recent memory. The only not-so-good song in my opinion is "Good In Bed". "Hallucinate", "Cool" and "Love Again" are highlights for me. It's literally so cohesive

Please guys, some of us don't want a spoil for this. You re in fact "helping" spread the leak and for God's shake, stop creating threads for yet unreleased songs. Is it too much to ask for what, 12 days?

Now thinking about it, I'm kinda upset the album got leaked because her streams will be lower now since people obviously already heard it and won't tune in for it that much on April 3rd. I'm just praying whatever boost the album entails is enough to give "Don't Start Now" that final push to No. 1 on the Hot 100.

With promotion for the album basically at a stand still due to what's going on worldwide right now, who's to say they couldn't drop the album a week earlier, on Friday the 27th as well as the video for "Break My Heart"?
