Another thing, "Break My Heart" is looking to be the obvious successor to "Don't Start Now" in North America. "Don't Start Now" has technically hit its peak and her team is just awaiting the album to push it one last time (~hopefully to No. 1 on the Hot 100). I definitely believed that "Physical" would've had life in the Americas if it wasn't for "Don't Start Now" unprecedented popularity. Nonetheless, I've heard the "Break My Heart" snippets and it seems more promising than "Physical" and sounds like her next radio hit.

It's the last song on the album. No one has heard it yet, but they are basing off how good it is based on the song description. Do you know anything about “cool”? I’m excited for that one I don't remember where I saw the song descriptions unfortunately.

"Don't Start Now" falls to #6 and "Physical" climbs to #7 this week in the UK. As a consequence, the latter reaches a new peak and Dua still has two songs inside the Top 10, being the former for 19 non-consecutive weeks there.
Dua's UK peaks to date:
#1. "New Rules" #1. "One Kiss" (Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa) #2. "Don't Start Now" #3. "IDGAF" #4. "Electricity" (Silk City & Dua Lipa) #7. "Physical" #9. "Be The One" #10. "No Lie" (Sean Paul featuring Dua Lipa) #14. "Scared To Be Lonely" (Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa) #15. "Hotter Than Hell" #24. "Swan Song" #30. "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" #36. "Kiss And Make Up" (Dua Lipa & BLACKPINK) #86. "Lost In Your Light" (Dua Lipa featuring Miguel)
"Don't Start Now" chart run: 2 − 2 − 2 − 4 − 4 − 3 − 4 − 14 − 3 − 3 − 4 − 7 − 6 − 4 − 4 − 5 − 5 − 6 − 5 − 6 − (...)
"Physical" chart run: 12 − 11 − 16 − 14 − 13 − 8 − 7 − (...)

There’s a rumor that the album release has been pushed back to April 24th. I don’t think it’ll happen but that’s not good news to wake up to.

This is the same thing Nicki Minaj did with "Queen" that messed up her rollout and actually ruined most of the era by moving the release date so soon and making her fans have to remove it from pre-orders.

Mediabse official website is starting to promote "Don't Start Now" on US Radios again (~the song also had a very nice Pop Radio/HAC update today), and they also kind of confirmed that "Break My Heart" will impact US Radios upon release as the second official "Future Nostalgia" single in North America.
Judging at how randomly they started promoting the song again, It's only certain that they're looking to get that #1 spot on the Hot 100. Also, if that album push-back rumor is true....It KINDA might help her case since she will need at least 2-3 weeks away from The Weeknd to nab a really good debut on the Billboard 200; there's a TON of albums being released on April 3rd, especially Sam Hunt's new album arriving the same date (~and his audience will definitely BUY his record)...so the thought of her pushing the album back further might HURT her in the long-run, but she'd have a clean week on April 24th to possibly land a No. 1 debut once The Weeknd loses momentum, also the Hot 100 will start to free up as "The Box" & "Blinding Lights" will be vulnerable enough to eclipse on the charts.

I want to believe her team knows what they're doing, especially given how well they've been handling this era so far.
It would be a shame having to wait until April 24th to listen to the album, and the possibility of a potential leak is greater. However, it can be a strategic choice to secure the #1 spot for "Don't Start Now", so we'll have to wait and see.

She's the cover girl of Vogue AUS for the April issue, which you could read it here. https://www.instagram.com/p/B9_yXxJh80M https://www.instagram.com/p/B-ABNkihPqU The following was said regarding the album. Dua added the following. "When I was putting it together everyone was like: 'Oooh, second album'. I had to shut off the craziness... I went into the studio with my friends and decided that all I wanted to do was make music that made me happy and made me dance. I just want to have fun. At the end of the day, we're all just on the backs of giants. Everything keeps coming back, from fashion to music. I think it's important to try and recognise that but create a new way of doing things."

As a side note, this is a general reminder. Requesting and/or asking audio files to other members is against the board rules and ProBoards TOS. Also, I'm aware that staff is flexible with this rule, but I've seen a couple of posters doing double (or, even, triple) posting in the thread, which is basically posting consecutively in the same thread. Please, use the 'edit' button if you want to add anything else in the thread instead. Thank you.

April 24 pushback makes sense if they believe some imposed quarantines will be lifted by then and want to take advantage of the ability to actually do a bit of promotion which would not be possible the week of April 3. Otherwise, I don't really see the point in holding off. In the US things are looking very iffy and I imagine the UK is equally murky. Many April-May events got pushed back or postponed indefinitely, so banking on anything being possible at the end of April is a dicey move at best.

June events are already being postponed, a 3-week pushback only makes sense if they want to give BMH more time. That doesn't make sense to me tho. Coronavirus' quarantine isn't going anywhere for a good while

Don't get me wrong, but I doubt the album has been pushed back. At this point, Dua doesn't have anything to lose and it will be worse if she delays Future Nostalgia because anything can't guarantee that COVID-19 will be over later next month, so she could promote the album. Even, the release date of April 3 was mentioned in her latest Vogue Australia interview. I PRAY the album pushes "Don't Start Now" to #1 in the UK. That's sadly not going to happen because the track will be on ACR (Accelerated Chart Ratio) in two weeks if and only if the song declines in units/'sales', like it has happened for the last two weeks. If you're wondering what's ACR, this was already explained here. That's not true at all because Mediabase isn't promoting the song; it's Warner, her label. Each week, there's a flyer from any label on Mediabase's site and a song or a couple of them are promoted there. This week, Warner is promoting "What If I Told You That I Love You" by Ali Gatie, "Baby Girl" by Bryce Vine and "Don't Start Now" by Dua Lipa in a .gif picture. On Dua's, there's a part which says: "New single coming Thursday 3/26!!", which leads to think that "Break My Heart" will be promoted in the US.

Yeah, I know about ACR...but thanks for reminding me since I was wondering why "Don't Start Now" hasn't freefell yet. Also, my mistakes I usually think that Mediabase was promoting with flyers but it makes even more sense that Warner Records is. I also think the Official Charts Company should get rid of "Accelerated Chart Ratio" and implement a replacement such as "recurrent" as seen in the US markets. I remembered when "Dance Monkey" completely collapsed from No. 1 in the UK all the way down to No. 10 due to ACR, which was stupid because it didn't mean people randomly stopped listening, but that its streams/sales were cut in half... ...implementing "recurrent" would work so much better for the Singles Chart in my opinion...especially since there is an Ed Sheeran song from more than 100 weeks ago STILL charting there, lol.

Part of me feels like albums don’t “accidentally” leak in this new age of music and especially during a precarious time like this when artists can’t promote new music in a traditional manner. What better way to get people talking about the album and prepare them to stream it even more upon official release?🧐
Just my conspiracy theory. It’s shitty for her regardless but I hope it helps boost interest in the long term. DSN deserves at least a week at #1!

I was really fearing for a leak as we started to approach the release date. It was all too good to be true 😔
Given what happened, I hope her team decides to stick with the original April 3rd date. As folks have said here, it's not like the quarantine is being lifted anytime soon, and Dua Lipa has nothing to lose as long as she still has the hype and radio momentum.

If this song isn’t a huge hit then I don’t know what hits sound like anymore. It is a certified BOP. This aged well. I'm glad that I still know what hits sound like.

I truly hate myself for listening to the leaks my friend gave me, but "Levitating" is a bonafide bop...the next European hit.
Update: I am just...SPEECHLESS, these songs are just bops...they just get you groovin' and feeling happy. "Levitating" my favorite off the album. Dua really can't make a bad song.
As for anytime an album leaks, the experience I have with the actual release is much better (~Dua, sweetie forgive me for betraying you like this).
Holy Trinity of Future Nostalgia (Pre-releases excluded): 1, Levitating 2, Cool 3, Pretty Please
Whenever an album debuts on Spotify, there's always that one album track that gets the most streams first day from the others - i think that will be "Levitating" just because it stands OUT.

Yeah, I won't be listening to the leaks and I will try my best to avoid any snippets on my Instagram feed.
I won't judge you if you did, though. Curiosity can get the best of us sometimes, especially when the subject in question is such a hyped album like "Future Nostalgia".
So glad to know she didn't disappoint though 😍
