So the album is now out this Friday. Will definitely stream to help with sales, but crazy that the Virus will affect sales overall.

I'm really hoping for "Don't Start Now" to rebound one last time on Pop Radio and possibly break the spins record (unlikely at this point). It has been on a roller coaster effect on pop radio for the past couple of days now.

I preordered the CD and the vinyl back in January and Amazon just notified me that my delivery date was moved to this Friday, March 27. I’m surprised they were also able to move up the physical release date, but I’m definitely not complaining.

I would compare most of the tracks to Carly Rae Jepsons recent output which has a similar disco vibe. For me, the album is definitely strong but it doesn’t have the same cohesion as a Fever (but much more so than Teenage Dream). |

I love Dua and am super hyped for her album, but until she has had 10 years in the industry, won an Academy Award and put out a comprehensive discography, nah...won’t tolerate it. Mind you Gaga also gave us a single and release date within the span of like three months rather than half a year so... No hate, just won’t tolerate unnecessary bullshit shade from idiots. There is a marked improvement in quality between this album and her debut (which I personally didn't care for, even if it was ambitious), but she's not quite there yet. There's a lot of fresh ideas that make for really incredible moments, though. It's enough to make me almost care about pop again if this is the direction it's headed.
