Actually, there isn't any rate in British GQ's review, but it's highly positive. As a consequence, it will be interesting to see how much it's going to be rated on Metacritic (assuming that this review counts there, of course).

Also, there's another review from Slant Magazine, which gave the album 4 stars.

Agreed. It’s a great ALBUM track. Curious as to why they chose this as the next single but meh, maybe i’ll be proven wrong. From what i’ve heard from the rest of the album, I think there were some better choices.

Just heard Break My Heart for the first time and I can't be the only person that she sampled such a legendary song but DIDN'T use the guitar line. I mean she's worked it into the melody which makes it sorta catchy but I wanted to hear those riffs in the verses so bad and they weren't there ahhh.

This is the best album of the year so far alongside Chelsea Cutler's 'How To Be Human' (Dua has the bops, Chelsea has deep meaning)
I think I like Cool the most, it has such a cool vibe
Love Again is my hymn though "I can't believe I finally found someone"
The explosiveness on "Hallucinate" is groundbreaking and so is "Levitating" as a whole
I even like "Good In Bed" now God is she good!!

But the dead in the eyes look needs to go, it is not cute. The parts where she is reacting to whatever is happening around her, so she is showing a bit of emotion (and personality) are sooo much better, it really shows that we could have it all with her, but girl keep insisting on "giving face".

Some artists just don't have "it" despite all the praise in the world. Ariana Grande suffers from it as well.

I mean...I love Physical and DSN but...c'mon!! That's INSANE! In other news, my CD has shipped from Amazon and though it says it will arrive tomorrow by 11 PM, my email says delivery on Saturday. Probably delayed. It is in Texas though, so maybe I will be lucky like with After Hours and it will arrive a day earlier than originally scheduled. Hopefully, unlike After Hours, I actually get a CD and not a blank package.

Future Nostalgia - First Listen Review (to be updated)

1. Future Nostalgia (9/10)
I love this song more and more with each listen. The verses are brilliant. Great opener.

2. Don't Start Now (10/10)
One of the best pop songs of the previous decade. Still can't believe everything that's happened in the Dua nation since this song came out. A modern day classic.

3. Cool (9.5/10)
Amazing intro. So ethereal. Probably the most modern sounding song so far. Some melodies remind me of certain Little Mix songs and that makes sense since their main co-writer worked on this song. This will sound mad good in a live setting.

4. Physical (10/10)
Not much to say here. Still obsessed with this song. I'd have picked a different song to follow "Cool" with but it is a... cool change of pace. God tier.

5. Levitating (9.5/10)
WHAT. Talk about a change of pace. This song is so groovy! My favorite first listen so far. Dua said this is the first song she made for the album and now it makes sense.

6. Pretty Please (9/10)
This is the one I was most excited about. And it didn't disappoint. I would've preferred a different chorus though. The bassline...    

7. Hallucinate (10/10)
Aaand we're back! This is one of the more '90s inspired anthems on the record. And we're here for it. I knew Stuart Price & SG Lewis would never disappoint.

8. Love Again (10/10)
Amazing use of the sample. This song is phenomenal. So mature & sophisticated. And the production might be the best we've heard on the album along with "Hallucinate".

9. Break My Heart (9/10)
This song sounds great in the album. And I have a feeling it'll grow to be a perfect 10. I love the melody interpolation. Obvious single choice.

10. Good In Bed (8/10)
This song is so British omg. I heard several people say it doesn't sound in-place on the album and I disagree... partially. I think this is the ONLY position it could be on the album. After "Break My Heart" and before "Boys Will Be Boys". I like this. It's probably my least favorite song here but it's still very good.

11. Boys Will Be Boys (10/10)
Am I turning into a ballad hoe? This is probably the most instant song on the record. It's also the one with the least retro references. The strings & the climax reminded me of some of the previous tracks so the song belongs in this album and it's a great closer in my opinion. I would've liked a double chorus or a post chorus at the end. It left me wanting more.
