Love this album! My favourites of the new songs are Cool, Hallucinate, Levitating. But by far the best new song is "Good In Bed". What a tune!

Bitch! This is a perfect Pop album. Kylie's Fever influence is there but this doesn't feel like a carbon copy the way COADF did.
Production is top notch on pretty much every track. Only track I'm not fond of is "Cool," it kinda breaks the vibe of the album.

She really did serve with this album, tracks 1-9 are such an incredible pop high. I still maintain the album falls off a cliff with the last two tracks. The chorus of "Good In Bed" is the lowest point on the album, so annoying. And "BWBB" has great lyrics, but it just doesn't belong on this album (like at all). But tracks 1-9 more than make up for it.

Dua Lipa delivered what is one of the best pop albums in recent memory. The production is there, the lyricism is a huge growth from her debut album, and the sophomore slump couldn't catch her.
I went into this album with high expectations, and came out with sheer effervescence. There are no skips at all, although the last two tracks are the weakest.

The album is literally so cohesive... it's incredible. No wonder it's getting rave reviews.
I can't even pinpoint my favorites because I feel like they might change in no time. For now, "Cool", "Love Again" and "Pretty Please" are standouts though I literally love all the tracks.

The highlights for me were Hallucinate, Levitating, Physical, Future Nostalgia and Love Again. She's either hit or miss with me. Hallucinate is one of the best pop songs of this year though.

After first listen, it's definitely solid. Most of the tracks are pretty nice, however, I don't quite see it at this all-time great Pop album level it was being hyped as.

Well that was pretty good on first listen. Definitely gonna have to listen to it a few more times, cause I feel like some of these songs might grow on me, but for now it's a light 8/10 and I'd recommend

Caved and got the leak. Wouldn't usually these days but there are EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES. Can confirm Vogue AUS was right - "Furthermore, it slaps." Last track doesn't fit in at all but I enjoy it as a song. Had a few days with it and I repeat, FURTHERMORE IT SLAPS. I was not expecting something this strong from Dua Lipa. |
