First time posting in this thread, so forgive me if my question has been asked before.

I only recently starting listening to Dua Lipa and think she is pretty great and love her new album

Question, does anyone else notice an interpolation of the song "Shut Up and Drive" by Rihanna in the song "Hallucinate" The melody of the first verse sounds a lot like SUAD. It starts almost immediately at around the 9 second mark.

Yeah, especially since it sounds like something that would do way better in Europe than in the US, which isn’t really the case with the other 3. Personally I’m leaning towards Team Love Again but I love all 4 of them lol

I think I might be the only one who doesn’t hear the single potential in Love Again. I think Levitating, Cool, and Hallucinate would all be better single choices than Love Again.

Surely not! The next single won't come for months, I would bet on June-July. Break My Heart is clearly not at its peak in the US, not even in Europe/UK.

Can I just say how much I still love this album? Even the stuff I think that is a little below the level of excellence of most tracks (i.e. the title track, "Good in Bed" and "Boys Will Be Boys") has now grown on me a lot.

"Cool" gets the greatest gainer achievement though. It has gone from a really good track to a potential single imo. It's so cool, for lack of a better word.

I was literally lying on the backyard yesterday, with this album at full volume on my earphones, watching the sky... and it's truly been a while since a project has made me feel so much. I kinda forgot we're in the middle of a terrible pandemic for a couple hours (I repeated it a few times).

"Levitating" is amazing, the best non-single (yet). "Love Again" and "Hallucinate" are gems as well.

In my opinion "Hallucinate" wouldn't be the best single for the US.
It reminds me of mid 70's Donna Summer mixed with Madonna's Confessions Of A Dance Floor and some Kylie Minogue.
I like it but I would prefer "Cool, Levitating, Love Again or "Pretty Please". Though I may be alone on that one. lol

I spoke to my Radio DJ source about the possibility of “Hallucinate” becoming a US Single, and he in fact said “yes” but her team isn’t done promoting “Break My Heart” so it won’t be a single for a while.

I just PRAY “Hallucinate” doesn’t flop because it’s a risky choice to put put into the American markets.

Not going to lie, this album is sort of already starting to age on me. I'm still loving Cool, Hallucinate, Break My Heart, Love Again, and Physical, but not really big on the rest now.

Phil Christie, president of Warner Records, was interviewed by Music Week, where he revealed that there are 'a number of key singles to come' this year.

Based on UK sales and streams, using the OCC data, three album tracks stand out as prime candidates to be the fourth single off the record, which are the following.

• Most downloaded track: "Love Again"
• Most audio streams: "Hallucinate"
• Most video streams: "Levitating"

Besides that, there's a poll in the article above and "Levitating" is currently taking the lead, being "Hallucinate" and "Love Again" (in this order) behind them, although I'm not sure why "Physical" was included there. However, it's performing better than "Pretty Please", "Boys Will Be Boys" and "Good In Bed". As a side note, it seems that the re-release of the album will be later this year or next year because Phil mentioned that by the time Dua comes around to play the album live for people next year, it will feel much more like a greatest hits set than a brand new release.

"Hallucinate" is getting viral in the UK because Ben Howell remixed the track using the BBC News theme. Also, it was played on BBC Radio 1 during The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Greg James and both of them were interviewed by BBC News where the 90 seconds of the remix was played.
