^ Amazing! Now give the song the animated video it deserves and save the budget for Levitating when she can go out and perform again.

"One Kiss" hasn't crossed the billion streams on Spotify yet, but it will do this tomorrow because it's currently at 999,306,777 streams. However, "Physical" and "Break My Heart" crossed the 200m and 100m mark, respectively, of streams on Spotify today. Now give the song the animated video it deserves and save the budget for Levitating when she can go out and perform again. It's still unknown if the planned animated video is for "Hallucinate" to be honest. I mean, the only information known is that the fourth single will have an animated video and there's a possibility that they already picked another song as the single instead of "Hallucinate". Either way, I wouldn't mind if Warner goes with "Hallucinate" as the next single though. I already mentioned that this is one of my favourite songs of the album and I think it could do very well in Europe and Oceania, so they could take this moment as an opportunity to push this there. In case they already have chosen another song instead, "Hallucinate" might be the build-up for the another song to have a WW push.

Might not even crack 1B tomorrow, it's been getting around 600k streams daily. Twitter chart accounts have started to get ahead of themselves announcing these things, it's still gonna be two days until it gets to 1B (unless it receives a boost)

The album is projected to return to the Top 10 (at #10) in the US. She's competing with Billie Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? to be in this spot.

Welp, DSN seems to be too strong to this day, even for Physical and BMH. I wouldn't mind Hallucinate for a Europe / Oceania single. BMH will take at least another 2-3 months to peak on Pop, more than enough time for them to squeeze in another single in those two markets. Levitating for the true global smash when the corona is over.

Each mashup I come across on Youtube is better than the other. A Doja collab would be so right for 2020

The best thing about this is that it played on BBC, people checking for corona news and then they hear a Dua song.

To complement the article of Music Week posted earlier this week, Phil Christie, president of Warner Records, gave some details about the campaign of the album. In regards of the album performance, the following was said by him and it seems that there's some shade towards 5SOS. "The [albums] chart is one metric of success. It favours physical over streaming, particularly when you're de-weighting your two biggest records on the album on streaming services to achieve your SEA number. We weren't able to land the No.1 in the UK [in release week], which is disappointing. But it's one of a number of metrics that week that were significant. If you look at the performance of the Dua record in week two and 5SOS, you get to see to what extent a core audience were sold hard to in that first week." Also, Phil said there's a global strategy following the release of her self-titled 2017 debut, being South America one of their top markets. "We've spent years building her territory by territory on a global basis and putting additional time into areas that were slower to build. We felt the full benefit of that launching this time around, following so much effort and energy and multiple trips out to the Far East, China and Southeast Asia. There was an additional focus on South America and Brazil, in particular, which is now one of our top markets. We put an additional focus on France, that's now one of the leading markets in Europe, so we made sure we've been diligent to go back and pick off territories that were slower [to take off initially] and give them additional assets and additional access.T he global campaign is really humming all over the world and we’re excited about the next 12 months. We've got every intention of trying to make her the biggest artist in the world on Spotify." Moreover, Phil ensured that the Future Nostalgia campaign will remain active well into next year, despite of the arena tour to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. "The destruction of the live market has taken a big chunk out of the campaign, she would have been out on tour now, all the way through the rest of the year. It's very much an album that needs to be seen live, and she's got huge ambitions for that stage production. So that's something we'll work without until it's back in play next year, hopefully, and then we'll get the additional benefit of all the live activity." Regarding the unreleased material and features to maintain streaming momentum, he added the following. "It's really only just begun. We've got a number of key singles to come off the record, before we even start talking about features and new songs that we've held back and will release later in the year and beginning of 2021. So we've got a very clear campaign that runs us all the way into award season next year, and hopefully beyond."

FYI, the exact UK sales of her self-titled album was 612,378 as of April 24. If those 2,750 sales are the exact number of last week (and they aren't estimated because I haven't seen that Music Week and/or other source posted them), the sales should be at around 615k, which is fantastic to be honest.
Either way, the UK midweek update is out and Future Nostalgia is currently at #4 behind Dark Lane Demo Tapes, The New Abnormal and Eye of the Storm. Drake and Tide Lines's albums are new entries, while The Strokes's album is getting a new peak because of the vinyl release. Regarding the singles, "Break My Heart" is at #11, while "Physical" and "Don't Start Now" are at #25 and #30, respectively, due to ACR.

Haven't been on here for a while so forgive me if this was discussed, I'm just surprised none of Dua Lipa's current songs are eligible for this chart. Maybe I don't know what makes a song "electronic"?
Additionally, this album is perfection (minus "Boys Will Be Boys.")

Dua will be part of Diary of a Song from The New York Times. Based on the emoji, I assume it's going to be "Physical".

Dua is one of the cover stars of British GQ for the June issue. You could read the interview here, where she discusses about Future Nostalgia, rejecting stan culture and the power of women. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_1lpNqJ-io

Dua’s next plan is a Latin collaboration coming SOON (according to Mr. S), this is quite interesting. Maybe they’ll push “Hallucinate” in Europe and then release the Latin collab (which is reportedly J Balvin & Bad Bunny) sometime during that time.

Holy shit, a Bad Bunny + J Balvin collaboration, if true, would be a freacking worldwide smash.
As for the Normani collab, I hope 'soon' means 2021. As soon as the quarantine is lifted and 50 people or so reunions are allowed, I need her to go to scout locations or lock up in a studio and film at least 2 more videos for the original album.

I’m excited for both collaborations! I love when Latin crosses over to Pop and both J Balvin and Bad Bunny have some bops!
As for the Normani feature, I’m even more excited about that. Even though Normani’s solo material doesn’t do too much for me, her collaborations usually end up being some of my favorite songs (Love Lies, Dancing With A Stranger).
