I don't like any of the new songs so i'll keep the original album.

I really hope If It Ain’t Me becomes a single eventually and they end up releasing the superior version with Normani!
I personally think it’s absolutely tacky how Dua added Prisoner and Un Dia to this album. I get she wants more streams but it’s totally unnecessary.

I’m pretty sure it’s the label’s decision not Dua’s.

made a thread for this, but: 20-year old Turkish pop star Aleyna Tilki was signed to Warner Records after her first couple of singles became the most-streamed songs to come out of the Turkish market. She's releasing her first international singe on Warner, "Retrograde", next week (2/26). The song was written by Dua Lipa, Sarah Hudson, Clarence Coffee Jr, King Henry and Diplo, per Aleyna's Instagram stories. http://instagr.am/p/CLcFu3aJjvF

FN is #7 on HITSDD with 33k. A nice boost back into the top 10, especially considering this is its 46th week.

I have ignored Dua La Peep until now - thinking she’s the equivalent of Selena Gomez (radio friendly singles you won’t remember in 2 years time). But this release is great. Listened to the whole album and she can call me a fan.
That Kind Of Woman is just sublime.

FN is predicted to rise a spot to #7 in its 48th week according to HITSDD, if all goes well at the grammy’s in 2 weeks it could possibly hit a new peak in the top 3.

It’s hard to predict what songs will be remembered years from now, but I feel like DSN will survive. It has that timeless feel to it and I hear lots of recurrent airplay still. Please tell me that “If it ain’t me” is next!

I'm rooting for her to take AOTY too!
I understand and agree with most of the folklore praise, but personally Future Nostalgia was the album that got me through most of the dark times of 2020, while, by design, folklore felt a lot more depressing and less of an escape.

"Don't Start Now" is the featured song in the commercial announcing performers. I'm not sure what one should take form that. I think the record of the year and pop solo performance awards are locked, but AOTY would be the one I'd really want her to win.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Dua's previous Grammy performance with St. Vincent, but I hope she gets a solo performance this year. Those forced "Grammy moments" rarely work. (Dua and St. Vincent's was the exception.)
I think it's a given that she'll perform "DSN" in some capacity though.

I hope Dua pulls an upset and Future Nostalgia wins Album of the Year at the GRAMMYs. I'm also inclined to think that "Don't Start Now" is a lock in Record of the Year and, possibly, Best Pop Solo Performance, but I'm really rooting for her to take the former or, even, Best Pop Vocal Album. I mean, Future Nostalgia has already got some great accolades and a GRAMMY could make it even better.

I understand and agree with most of the folklore praise, but personally Future Nostalgia was the album that got me through most of the dark times of 2020, while, by design, folklore felt a lot more depressing and less of an escape. amen! folklore even has a song ABOUT the pandemic on it. I think it is very much possible for Dua to take AOTY. a lot of music journalists seem to have the "Dua should win, but Taylor will win" kind of prediction, which leads me to believe that Dua might have a better shot than all of them are estimating. ROTY is between "Savage Remix" and "Don't Start Now," I'd say. SOTY isn't very likely for Dua in my opinion, unless it's a double ROTY/SOTY win.

I think "That Kind of Woman" may be my favorite song from this project at the moment. Her tone, the melody, and those signature Stuart Price synths make for a phenomenal hook. Such a killer Pop record. Oh, I hope she picks up a few Grammys as well.

I think it's between DSN and Watermelon Sugar for Pop Solo. Though Bilie is also there.
DSN deserves ROTY if she lost all her other noms but won that and Pop solo I'd be fine with that.

"Love Again" is officially the next French single off the album, following the success of "Fever" there.
