Honestly going to stick to purchasing the original on vinyl. I don't really care too much about the bonus tracks and the original cover is so much better.

Exactly what I was talking about earlier. I saw this and thought of you, lol. It will definitely have an asterisk next to it, as it isn't a studio album. if everyone does the same, most-streamed albums list will just mirror the most-streamed artists list, since this is essentially a glorified "This Is: The Weeknd" playlist.

So y'all issue with this is that the albums are getting pushed up 'The most streamed albums of all time on Spotify'? I promise you it's not that deep.
Besides The Weeknd has that title now anyways "The Highlights" has been out for 4 hours and already is the most streamed album on Spotify with over 12B streams :kii: .

I saw the talk about copping vinyls and I think I'll stick with buying the original as well. The tracklist is simply too flawless for me to ever get any other version.

Breaking the record for "most streamed album of all time on Spotify" by releasing the compilation of your greatest hits seems more like a side effect than a intended action, and in my opinion it's slightly different than Dua's self-titled album situation, however at this point I think it's something that we have to get used to - especially with music consumption so clearly dominated by streaming. We will see if other labels will follow the suit.

Or maybe we stop paying attention to random records that @'chartdata tweets and start making our own conclusions from facts and context. It's also very different to do a re-release with new material vs a full-on GH album. Dua could probably get close to Abel's "record" by doing a GH with all her singles and collabs right now, but who would really count that tbh?

I agree with this. Comparing an album (independently if additional songs are added to them or not after its original release) with a compilation is absurd.

The original cover is vintage and timeless at the same time. This just looks cheap when compared to that.

Just heard all the versions of the tracks that are making the re-issue
We're Good and That Kind Of Woman are great If It Ain't Me solo is a bop but feels off to me since I'm too used to the original with Normani Not My Problem feels like a sweetener track so maybe it will follow the same route and be a grower not a shower
I really am disappointed Love Is Religion was not included and I also think Not My Problem could have been swapped out for LIR or Ball & Chain. Aside from that I am mostly happy with the re-issue and I really enjoyed We're Good so I am happy with it being the single

My prediction is she releases We're Good as a single and maybe some more features throughout the year and later she drops the Sunlight Edition of Future Nostalgia where we finally get Cherry, Jealousy, Ball And Chain...

I can’t wait to scream the bridge on “That Kind of Woman” in the car with the windows down on a star-lit midsummer’s night. SUBLIME.

Since I’ve already given my initial reaction to Future Nostalgia last March, I’ll just start my ratings with the Moonlight Edition tracks.
12. Fever - I didn’t really care for this when it first came out but it’s grown on me a little bit. It’s still not a track I’d seek out, the production is decent but there’s nothing really to hook me into the song. (3/5) 13. We’re Good - I actually like this one. Like Fever, it doesn’t really go with the rest of the album but I love the chorus. It’s catchy enough to grow on me and I like the chill vibe of it. The cocaine lyric doesn’t bother me. (4/5) 14. Prisoner - A masterpiece on Miley’s album and it’s a masterpiece on Dua’s. I love how they both sound on this and this actually goes more with Future Nostslgia than the previous two songs. (5/5) 15. If It Ain’t Me - This is my first time hearing this song and I like it. I’m surprised this was left off of the original album. It would go great following Don’t Start Now on the album and of course I’m a sucker for the disco influence. I remember reading that Normani was on this? I wonder if they’re saving that version to be the next single after We’re Good? (4.5/5) 16. That Kind Of Woman - This started off slow but I love when the chorus kicked in. Not single worthy but it’s a cute album cut and works with most of the album. (3.5/5) 17. Not My Problem - This was a choice. On first listen, it’s meh and feels like Dua regressed with this. Maybe it’ll grow on me over time but right now it’s my least favorite of the 4 new songs. (2.5/5) 18. Levitating (remix) - I still love the remix as much as the original. I like DaBaby’s verse and I bop to both versions of this masterpiece. (5/5) 19. Un Día - I don’t get why they added this on because it doesn’t go with the rest of the album (at all) and it’s not even Dua’s song. At least Prisoner went with the rest of the album. I usually enjoy when big pop stars crossover to Latin but this one never really kept my attention. (2.5/5)
Overall, I enjoyed this re-release of Future Nostalgia and I think this is a good way to close out her Future Nostalgia era. Once We’re Good finishes its run as a single, I don’t they finish the era with a If It Ain’t Me remix featuring Normani this summer.

Welp. "If It Ain't Me" is available to stream now.
She can keep the rest of this B-side/re-release mess, though. "We're Good" is... anything but. "That Kind of Woman" should have rightfully stayed on the cutting room floor. "Not My Problem" is a problem and a half. And then the other two tracks are just "Prisoner" and "Un Dia" omfg. ("Levitating" remix and "Fever" have literally already been a part of previous re-issues of this album lol.)
The original 11 tracks plus "Fever" and "If It Ain't Me" will be my Moonlight Edition tyvm.

Wow. I thought the original album was absolutely flawless, and I was terrified the new songs would stain a perfect album. But I really like this version too.
But I'm confused, this is just like a "deluxe" version of the album, right? With these new songs at the end?
Ah well, I stan.

Mixed feelings. We're Good is growing on me fast, but the others are either not great or just superfluous (the collabs already released - streaming ploys I'm sure). If It Ain't Me is fine, but it's not doing anything the OG album isn't doing better (hence why it wasn't included, I assume, unless there was some Normani drama?).
Future Nostalgia is so strong and lean, tacking this on feels a bit odd. Power to her though, she's having such a great era.
