So how do we think sales will do next for Scorpion? I mean since Drake took part in X’s death according to Twitter. That nonsense doesnt really affect anything at all. Same as with every controversy the internet generates against him, the people that weren't listening to him before this wont listen and those who do will continue to do so Probably 750 - 950k sps |

Also, for those doing predictions for this week, hdd has Sad! at 25m on demand streams. Thats way lower than I estimated and I still couldnt see it going #1. It cant possibly pull more than 25m on YT so im having a lot of trouble seeing it at #1

It cant possibly pull more than 25m on YT so im having a lot of trouble seeing it at #1 it did 4 million on monday US YT streams... im guessing 6 million on tuesday.... then 3-4 on wednesday and thursday which will give it 17 million from youtube which will be a total of 42 million streams compared to cardi's around 32 million.... i think sad will sell about 28k to i like it's 30k so i think they should be even in sales... so sad has a 10 million edge in streaming... but i like it has a 80million audience advantage on radio.... so him getting the #1 over her solely based on streaming would be so ridiculous .... |

Do you think all of X's songs will get new peaks next week? He's had 15 charting songs. I really doubt every one of them will re-enter, let alone peak higher than they already did. Interestingly, if every single XXX song re-entered and re-peaked, it wouldn't guarantee that he'd have a bigger takeover than Prince. But I think we'll probably get a bigger takeover anyways. I think he'll have a lot more than just 6 songs in the Top 50. (He's had 6 Top 50's so far). |

I wonder, if "SAD!" does go to #1 next week, how much will the song drop the week after. Would be interesting to see if it can beat "Nothing from Nothing" by Billy Preston and "Then Came You" by Dionne Warwick and the Spinners (both of which went from #1 to #15) for the biggest drop from the #1 spot. What day of the week did Prince die? Remember that Prince's bigger week was the second week after he initially re-entered. He must have had only like a half day of charting or something. it high key might fall off the entire chart. Good! Let's break Soko's record! That's almost certainly not going to happen. "Sad!" had been holding steady from 51-52 a week before he died. And it's in its 15th week. So it almost certainly would have gotten a 17th week, even if XXX was still alive. If anything, we're likely to see "Sad!" get a "second wind" of sorts, since it's still in regular circulation, and is probably gaining a lot of new first-time listeners. And SoKo would still have the more noteworthy records of being: * The highest charting song ever to spent only one week on the chart * The weakest Top 10 of all time. |

Views did a million SPS and streaming has certainly only grown since then. It helps that he has a nice pair of massive hits that will help if they find their way onto Scorpion. |

Soko is the singer of a song called "I Might Be Dead By Tomorrow" which debuted at #9 on the Hot 100 in early 2014, due to going viral on YouTube, and then fell off the chart completely the next week. Like I said, it's the weakest Top 10 of all time. And it's the strongest song to ever spend only one week on the Hot 100. A singer who benefitted from weird Billboard rules at the time. I don't think it was really Billboard's rules. Although YouTube power might have been a little bit OP, or poorly balanced at the time. Do you know exactly how many streams Soko got on YouTube the week that it charted? |

There were a ton of songs like that in those two years. Although none as extreme as SoKo's. These days, viral hits behave very differently. |
