I have to say, though, out of all the female singers who got their first taste of fame from being Disney stars, Ariana Grande's career has been the most interesting for me. Miley and Selena never quite did it for me. I haven't always been a huge Ariana fan, but I can say I've always enjoyed songs off her albums and I'll always cop her albums. She's also an amazing vocalist and performer.

Based on my predictions, Bastille will be #1 on Hot 100 Airplay no later than 11/24. Which means that GLY can at best TIE iris but will NOT beat the record. Thank GOD! What will be the determining factor is if GLY will drop off playlists when resets come on Sundays 11/11 and 11/18. More Programmers will finally drop the song and increase Xmas songs. Bastille is still hot and fresh at Pop so that will help it. I'm hoping GLY will end at 17 weeks. I hope GLY will break the record, just because you're crying around in these threads for weeks now about it.lmao

Demi is probably the vocal powerhouse between all of them.

GLY is a horrid piece of trash that is a flash in the pan. Next This is for CHART DISCUSSION people. Let's stop with these fights. That being said, anyone around in the 90's knows that Iris was treated the same as GLY. Easy-listening slock from a mediocre pop rock band that got played way too much, of course everyone thinks it's timeless now, but if you were there you would know. The Goo Goo Dolls were basically the Maroon 5 of the 90's, critics hated them, soccer moms loved them. Stop pretending that its some timeless song, you know why it's timeless? Because radio won't stop playing it, Iris has haunted the radio for 20 years. And let's not sit here and pretend that GYL's is just gonna vanish after it's run and no one will remember it, AC stations are gonna continue to play this for years to come whether you like it or not. Songs like Iris, or The Reason, or Sugar Rays terrible hits all continue to get recurrent play day in and day out because it's easy listening and that's what radio loves. GYL is gonna be around for a long time, so just deal with it. Thank u, next.

I think we should set up a rant board where all you people who only wanna talk about the songs and know nothing about the charts can have ya boring conversations elsewhere. GLY is pretty much done for, it's reign at the top is OVER. It's not gonna be #1 next week, it's losing radio so there's that, the Superbowl is almost definitely gonna be a flop for Maroon 5 because Maroon 5 sucks, can we talk about something else?
(p.s. panic at the fucking disco might have a top ten hit in 2018/maybe 2019 what the fuck)

Is it? It is still #1 on radio. It has had a lengthy chart run of epic proportions. It was one Drake song away from having one of the longest runs at #1 in chart history.
Everyone's favorite female rapper is on the song.

It will be #1 on radio. (Is it "THIS" ?- with so many active Hot 100 threads - I get confused) Anyway, present tense, not past tense

Seems like it. Second place is the Gummy Bear song, which was released a full seven months later. That's just the upload date. Numb is from 2003, while the Gummy Bear song is originally from 2007. Crazy Frog - Axel F is another similar one, but that's also from 2005, two years after Numb. Axel F has a billion views? Kill me rn

Axel F has a billion views? Kill me rn I thought we left Crazy Frog back in 2005... Crazy Frog has been trapped in the mid 2000s where he belongs, but his little wang has stuck around and will continue to be with us for centuries...
