From 30-11
- There were a few songs that I thought were just too boring and unimpressive:
25. Being Boiled (41); 23. Moments In Love (43); 21. 100,000 Fireflies (37); 19. Falling (44)
- Other songs were decent but nothing too spectacular, including new and familiar tunes:
18. Great Southern Land (34) (ok discovery that I wanted to like more, especially after my love for Crazy and Electric Blue, but it just didn't connect well with me);
15. This Is The Day (33); 14. Are 'Friends' Electric? (35);
12. This Must Be The Place (32) (I learned about this song ~10 years ago, it's different but not my favorite TH song at all)
- Pretty good songs, including good discoveries!
30. Tryouts For The Human Race (20): Great discovery! Really liked the hi-energy vibe of this one.
26. Joan of Arc (Maid of Orleans) (15): I first heard it in the early 2000s after buying their Greatest Hits CD. I wasn't a big fan at the beginning --as I like more the full dance or ballad songs from them --but then I grew to like its epic and dramatic vibe.
24. Everything Is Embarrassing (21): This was a pretty good discovery!
22. Someone Somewhere (In Summertime) (17): Another great discovery! Excellent vocals were guaranteed, but this also had pretty good music, dark mood, strong attitude.
- VERY good songs!
29. One Thing Leads To Another (13): A a bit more rock- than synth- pop, but a 1980s classic anyway.
27. Duel - Propaganda (7): SO GOOD to be able to rank this great song! A hit back home and one of my personal favorites this year
20. The Sparrows and the Nightingales (11): My favorite discovery of this RD. Love the hi-energy and epic sound and vocals.
17. REALiTi (12): My second favorite discovery, and the song that got most stuck in my head after the RD. Love the sound and vocals here, too!
16. Everywhere (6): FM is one of my favorite groups ever, and Tango In The Night one of my favorite albums from the 1980s. I love the music (incl, bass and drums), harmonies (layering in the chorus!) and lead vocals, and the overall dreamy vibe.
13. Love Is Stranger (10): I LOVE Annie, and this is one of their most dynamic songs.
