Here for CS as a single. Not here for a bs live video though. Well, I don’t think you can have Cruel Summer as single AND an actual video. The pandemic makes it impossible to film a big video now. So unless they did it before March (which I highly doubt) there won’t be a video at all (unless it’s like some home made type thing).

Love Story rose to #70 (+30) on Spotify Indonesia today, gaining 48,527 streams in the country, and is among the top 25 Western songs there. That puts it ahead of
#78 Boy With Luv #82 Dance Monkey #84 Senorita #85/#100 Say So #90 10000 Hours #95 Circles #97 Daisies #102 The Box #113 Break My Heart

People may call me crazy, but I feel "Look What You Made Me Do" helped open the door to Billie Eilish (only in part of course). With a creepy, dark undertone, spoken/sung verses, etc. Listen to "LWYMMD" and then listen to "Bury A Friend". They both have very similar vibes and I could totally imagine Billie singing on "LWYMMD". Wonder if there was influence there? youtu.be/uiRXzPAGAy8 52:10 I chuckled when I saw this earlier, reminded me of your comment!

Yaaaaaaas! Exactly! *influential queen* Haha seriously! Especially coming from a producer, you were definitely spot on with your comparison.

Seems like he really liked her use of ad-libs and harmonizing vocals.

I kind of hope trump tries to come for her.
You know she has responses already typed up and proof read by an army of lawyers and PR people. She wouldn’t tweet unless she was ready.
Betting they are telling him not to tweet her back 😂
Props to taylor for speaking up bluntly yet eloquently.

Mark these words. Taylor Swift is going to be the woman that inspires the young to vote for Joe Biden if only to get Trump out of office. Following that, the more she uses this voice, the more she's going to motivate us youth to enact a real change.
I mean, damn. Teenagers on stan Twitter have been doing more in two, nearly three days than many adult celebrities like Kylie and the like.

Damnnnn Queen Taylor just dropped the mic. Can we just throw the whole Democracy out the window and let Taylor be Queen of the America already?! I feel like she already is!
This is why she is my favorite. She puts her money where her mouth is, and tbh she had the most to lose out of any celebrity that has spoken up, but she knows the difference between good and evil. I’m a proud Stan right now.

wow, she is really THAT influential. Now I need Beyoncé, Gaga, Rihanna, and all the other legends to retweet and really rally change. One voice is strong, but having the support of others will be invaluable!

I haven’t been the biggest Taylor fan but I really really respect her for not being afraid to speak up... many of my music idols (Mariah in particular) always tend to lay low and not speak their minds in fear of the backlash... Taylor is quickly becoming a favorite!!! I’ve learned to appreciate her discovery after watching her documentary special.

I'm so proud of her!
In other news, seems really unimportant right now but according to HDD Lover is predicted to be at #22 with 20.4k units this week 40 weeks after release!

I love Taylor and think she's one of the sweetest and kindest artists toward her fanbase. I'm really annoyed with people who always think she's calculated.

I mean, she IS calculated. Not in her fan interactions, but in nearly anything else. I just don't think being calculated is a bad thing—when other people (fucking men) do it, they get to be "smart" and "business-savvy." I think Taylor's self-awareness and desire to maintain a favorable public image is a great career choice. I'm happy that she's speaking out politically now, too, since the 2018 midterms.

I think Taylor is somewhat victimized by her own intelligence. She is incredibly well spoken and thoughtful, especially for today’s pop culture icons. As a result, I think a lot of the public can’t always grasp that also being authentic.
When I think about how famous she has been, it’s actually amazing to me she seems as sane and collected as she does.

I appreciate her speaking out as loud and clear as she did. However, watching the rabid republican fanbase attack her on twitter for stupid things like having small breasts deeply saddens me. I hope she distances herself from social media and hateful people, or does not read the comments altogether 😢 I know she came a long way to accept her own body image and to find her political voice...
But I'm thankful she chose to use her platform to bring awareness to what's going on and she probably feels much better now that she is defending something she truly believes in ❤️

I’m willing to bet she doesn’t even look at that. She knows taking a side is going to cause her to be attacked, and she did it anyway.
When you’re as famous as she is, you don’t read the comments. You can’t be a woman in the entertainment industry without some damn thick skin.
She’s on the right side of history. She knows the power her words hold and she is using them to fight racism and hate.
Proud of her.

It's interesting and awesome to see her be so vocal after years of people grouping her with Nazi'd, the alt-right, and white supremacists (even people on this board) as jokes or not.
Proud of her! Good to see people figure out what we knew all along about her! ❤
