Maybe the video was the orchestral version of Lover she performed. It popped up after another song on YouTube ended and was a nice surprise. Sounded great!

We want an adult Taylor! idk why but on TS8 I really want her to talk explicitly (like explicitly) about things like drinking and sex...and I want some more cuss words since she's done two different words on two different albums now. How soon do we expect a new album with her rerecording the first six? I have a theory that the lead is out on her 30th birthday (December 13) and TS8 is out on Friday the 13th of March 2020; however, it's pure speculation and I could be horribly wrong |

I agree but I still feel like HDD misunderstood something or are misleading us by hinting at a new non-Cats related album. At most, I can see a small EP or Christmas album, or maybe a collab song with another artist. It might take less than 2 years for TS8 since she doesn't have as much of a busy touring schedule this album cycle, but I still wouldn't expect a new album until well into 2020. |

I would be so down for that release schedule though. |

Something may drop for the holidays or for her 30th, but considering this is a person who has crafted her work to two album of the year Grammys, spending two years on an album to move on from it in like four months doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m surprised that possibility is even being floated, no matter what HDD says. “Something” can mean a lot of things.

Taylor could just go the Iggy route and release a short EP some time soon. Not for commercial purposes, but just for her dedicated fans as it is her 13th year in the industry. Plus, why not make as much music as possible since she now owns everything she makes?

Good God, Cruel Summer is still SUCH a shot of adrenaline. It STILL hasn’t burned on me at all. What a fantastic pop song - deserves to be one of her career standouts. The lyrics, the pulsing, the desire, the climax, the storytelling - it all comes together here.

Good God, Cruel Summer is still SUCH a shot of adrenaline. It STILL hasn’t burned on me at all. What a fantastic pop song - deserves to be one of her career standouts. The lyrics, the pulsing, the desire, the climax, the storytelling - it all comes together here. It really is exhilarating. It wasn't a favorite of mine at first but it's really been growing on me in the last month. Anyways, looks like she'll be performing at Hyde Park Festival in London? |

It's the first time I've heard something so similar to an element of a Taylor Swift song since her label-mate Jack Ingram used "You Belong With Me"'s riff on "Barefoot & Crazy" although I think in that case it was Nathan Chapman who came up with the riff and Scott Borchetta asked him to come with a couple versions of the riff because he liked how it sounded on the YBWM demo and wanted to use it on his other demos, so in that case maybe Taylor's permission wasn't required. |
