(Also, on an unrelated note, I’ve been coming back to “Clean” a lot lately and ugh I’m obsessed all over again) Clean is literally one of the best songs of 1989 and it took me like 3 years to fully realize that. That song hasn't aged one bit. |

Clean is EXCELLENT and one of the best closing songs she has (which is very difficult when the competition is Daylight and NYD).

I wouldn't say anyone is claiming she "saves the film" (it's beyond saving), but I have seen plenty saying she's a sole highlight. There's a paragraph on the Wikipedia page solely about her positive reviews.

I mean out of all the major reviews I read I only see The Guardian singling her out as the best. The Wikipedia section (which is a complete joke lmfao she's lucky she has stans going this hard for her  ) only contains a couple critics/ publications I would consider major/esteemed but they do exist so I will give ya'll that. USA Today acclaimed actress Swift! In all seriousness though I've seen decent mentions for her in most reviews and only a few negative remarks. Rebel Wilson/James Corden are the only performances getting panned most of the critics are blaming the problems on the director, not the performers. Just don't think it's accurate to say she's getting great reviews/labeled MVP by the majority of credible critics. Anyway, none of this matters all that matters is Taylor has a part in the greatest film ever made that's enough reason to celebrate. |

I kinda want her to pull a "Gorgeous" with "London Boy" and release it as a UK-exclusive single just so we can get a music video. Love that song.
Rooting for at least 1 or 2 more singles from Lover stateside, too. Even if they're just modest airplay hits, I think she's got enough name recognition and clout to pull off another two top 20 hits on CHR and probably peak a little better on Hot AC/maybe AC as well (depending on the song). I've seen some comments about hoping she moves on from the project sooner rather than later, but it's still too early imo.

She should start teasing late 2020 and release a lead single in early 2021 after the freeze. I kinda want her to have a longer than normal album rollout with at least 5 songs out before album release like Post Malone has been doing.
