"Love, You Ain't Seen the Last Of Me" was released as the second single to Tracy's sixth studio album It's About Time and peaked at #44 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Mac Davis first recorded this song in 1982 but it was country music artist and actor John Schneider who took this all the way to #6 in 1987. Unfortunately recordyear loses his #1 and is actually the second #1 loss in a row as Kanenrá:ke most recently lost his. LBTrocks fears come true here as he loses a top 5 while bboat11 loses a top 10. This had a decent amount of support overall as it even flirted with the top 10 but ended up getting sent to the back of the top 15 thanks in part to the final list from kw9461 who was the only one to place this in their bottom 10.

Coming up next is the second most polarizing song of the rankdown and with it we'll see another one of Tracy's albums exit the rankdown.

can "Heaven In My Woman's Eyes" leave next? That is my lowest remaining song and the only one remaining I didn't care for. Your gain is a loss for many... 14. "Heaven in My Woman's Eyes" was released as the third single from Love Lessons and peaked at #14 in early 1996 which is the same position it exits in the rankdown. Unfortunately for recordyear he loses a top 3 just after losing his #1 while gardyfan loses a top 5 and two others lose a top 10 including myself. This was on track to finish inside the top 10 until both castleoblivion26 's and .indulgecountry 's sunk its chances with a pair of bottom 5 rankings. This was redeemed somewhat at the end thanks to two top 15 rankings where this ended up finishing just one point ahead of the #15 finisher as well as becoming the second most polarizing song of the rankdown. With this leaving all of the songs from Tracy's third studio album Love Lessons have now exited the rankdown.

Have a Good One 10. Walkin’ In
Highlighted Album Tracks:"Down on the Bottom"”Honky-Tonk Dancing Machine“”You Lied to Me“While a music video was made for this song it was never released as a single and I've been unable to verify if it was intended to be the lead single to the album and pulled or if the video was just made in fun (maybe Kanenrá:ke can help us verify some of this). I did initially have this song included on the songlist but ended up removing it to make room for a couple of album tracks from Tracy's most recent studio album. Looking back I do wish I had included this because it's a great song.

Will LBTrocks see anymore top 5 loses as he fears he might? What are the chances that a third person will see their #1 song exit just after Kanenrá:ke and recordyear lost theirs?? What will be the next album to exit the rankdown??? Answers to those questions and more will all be revealed soon!

BTW I'm just now noticing some twenty years later that the video for "Love, You Ain't Seen the Last of Me" was filmed here in Austin as I thought I recognized the restaurant that Tracy is sitting down in front of (it's a Tex-Mex establishment where we send all of the out-of-towners for subpar Mexican food) and then I had to go back and look through some more of the video. Sure enough that's Tracy walking down South Congress Avenue and visiting Town Lake Animal Center (now the location of Austin Pet's Alive). To be fair I wasn't living in Austin at the time so...but now I'm thinking maybe I underranked the song lol.

I was wondering where "Love, You Ain't Seen The Last of Me" was! Obviously, I think it's an AMAZING song, but I honestly thought it would have been out in the bottom 5 to 10 songs. Glad it fared better than I was anticipating.

I think Tracy's vocals are the best in Love Lessons among all songs in this rankdown. It has no weird vocal notes in the end of a sentence in some other songs in this rankdown. Listening to 4 to 1 in Atlanta and I now have no idea why I ranked this that low. It is still not a good song but not this low, maybe tim already explained for me? Walking to Jerusalem is solid jam and has a bit quirky lyrics. Oh Love, You Ain't Seen the Last Of Me has such a kickass fiddle and outlaw-ish sound. It is an instant favorite for me. I don't care it is a cover. Love the breezy vibe from Heaven In My Woman's Eyes, so much better than How’d I Wind Up in Jamaica. The checkered album cover of Love Lessons is so 1990s

tim I was actually unaware there was even a music video for "You Lied To Me"! I'll have to see if I can figure out if it was considered for a single.

The checkered album cover of Love Lessons is so 1990s I'm glad you mentioned this because I've always thought that Love Lessons was Tracy's best release vocally and even though it wasn't as commercially successful as his sophomore album I think it's one of his most cohesive releases overall. As for why you ranked "4 to 1 in Atlanta" second to last I can't really help you there lol other than to add that as I mentioned in the reveal is that some of the lyrics hold back the song for me as I've never liked the I'm gonna get lucky tonight line. While its never been one of my favorites personally I will say the song always makes me wanna tap my toe along with it. And as for the album cover I've always liked it and I'd even say it's my favorite album cover of his.

I'm only going to be doing one reveal this evening and that is because it will come as a complete shock to all. What many of you predicted would be a top 5 contender as well as one of the least polarizing songs of the rankdown ended up being the 4th most divisive song and will not only will miss the top 5 but the top 10 at that. Oh and did I mention someone will also be losing a #1?!

I'm thinking it is going to be one of "Watermelon Crawl", "I'm From The Country", or "Keeper of The Stars" based on the clues.
Hoping I'm wrong and it is none of them.

“The Keeper of the Stars” was released as the fourth and final single from Tracy’s sophomore album No Ordinary Man and peaked at #2 in early 1995. Written by Dickey Lee, Danny Mayo, and Karen Staley, the song went on to be named Song of the Year by the Academy of Country Music in 1996. Initially, MCA Records had not planned on releasing “The Keeper of the Stars” as a single until they realized it had been receiving positive feedback in concert. bboat11 becomes the third consecutive participant to lose their #1 while I lose a top 2. This dipped outside the top 25 when recordyear came in with a bottom 5 placement but it was able to rebound thanks in part to a top 5 from castleoblivion26 as well as a top 10 from Cody Wants Out... and one lone top 15 from kw9461 . Overall this just wasn’t able to garner enough support and ended up becoming the fourth most divisive song of the rankdown.

I'm still in shock that "The Keeper of the Stars" is out and I can't tell you how many times I had to go back and look at everyone's rankings just to make sure this was right because it still just doesn't seem so! This is one of Tracy's signature songs and it's just really unfortunate to see it leave so soon.
I'm going to stop there for now and will return later this week to wrap up the top 15...any guesses on which two songs will miss the top 10???

"The Keeper of the Stars" is great, but I couldn't put it any higher than I did Tracy has an incredible body of work.

Surprised it's out this soon too, but I'm not really complaining. Solid song, but quite a bit overrated and overplayed imo. There's much better songs still in.

Ah yes, the old "It's a slow love ballad so I have to tank it" mentality... Never fails to disappoint me.

"oh god" this is one of the sappiest love songs that relate the lovers' encounter to fate. At least his vocals in it are not bad, but how is it Song of the Year worthy...

“Just Let Me Be in Love” was released as the second single from Ten Rounds and was written by Mark Nesler, Tom Shapiro, and Tony Martin. It became another Top 10 single for Tracy where it peaked at #9 but unfortunately misses that mark here. This initially fell below the top 30 as George Strait Junkie was the only participant to place this in their bottom 5 but it was able to recover quickly before finally settling inside the top 15. Both LBTrocks and Cody Wants Out... lose a top 5 while castleoblivion26 and recordyear say goodbye to a top 10.

Another one I thought would be out ages ago. "Just Let Me Be In Love" is breathtaking though. I absolutely adore the Spanish-style guitar and the overall melody. The song has such a great vibe to it. Beautiful yet a little haunting, and I happen to think Tracy sang the hell out of it. This has always been a favorite of mine, obviously, and since it got so close I was holding out for it making the top 10... but I'll take this, considering I thought this was another bottom 10 contender.
