Here's a hint for the song to just miss the top 10 by four points and along with it we say goodbye to another album...

“Put Your Hand in Mine” was released as the first single from Tracy’s sixth studio album It’s About Time which was also his first album to be released on RCA Nashville after leaving MCA Nashville. Written by Skip Ewing and Jimmy Wayne, it peaked at #11 which is the same position at which it leaves the rankdown. This was an early top 5 contender before getting pushed out by @countyrocks bottom 10 ranking, but it was able to slowly recover and even flirted again with the top 10 before settling in at #11. castleoblivion26 , kw9461 , and myself all lose a top 5 while a handful of participants say goodbye to a top 15. Only two others placed this outside of the top 25 while LBTrocks doesn't want anyone putting their hand in his. With this song exiting we say goodbye to a fourth studio album.

If I liked the melody of "Put Your Hand In Mine" better I would have put this higher. It's a nice song that I wouldn't turn off but it's also not one of my go-to Tracy tunes.

I am stunned that "Revenge of a Middle Aged Woman" is still in. Not complaining but I say it's out next.

"Revenge of a Middle-Aged Woman" being in the top 10 is rather surprising. It's a jam though so not really complaining, but I wouldn't have pegged it to come this far. The other 9 look like the tracklisting for a Greatest Hits album though.

Alright let's go ahead and kick off the top 10! Coming up is the third most polarizing song of the rankdown and one that many of you already predicted would be leaving next...

“Revenge of a Middle-Aged Woman” was released as the first single from Tracy’s second Greatest Hits compilation and peaked at #34. Written by Sam Tate, Annie Tate, and Dave Berg, this was Tracy’s only charting single for BNA Records. I don’t think any of us expected this song to make it this far let alone the top 10, but it did come in as the third most polarizing song of the rankdown. recordyear and George Strait Junkie both lose a top 5 while three others lose a top 10. This continued to climb steadily into the top 15 before settling just inside the top 10 by a mere four points. Kanenrá:ke and myself don’t seem to find what is so great about this song as we both lose a bottom 5. With the exit of this song we also bid adieu to Tracy’s second Greatest Hits album.

"Revenge Of A Middle Aged Woman" is such a cool song!!! The story is funny and awesome. Although I agree that I am surprised to see it in the top 10. "Keeper Of The Stars" deserved it WAAAAAAAAAY more, in terms of which hits are his most iconic... Regarding the top 10, I am thrilled to see the I'm From The Country era doing so well!!! It may have only been 2 singles, but imo they are truly both fantastic Nothing in this top 10 feels out of place, although I would love to see some of the more overplayed songs fall out now so we don't have to worry about them winning (Watermelon Crawl, Ten Rounds *cough cough*)

10. "Revenge of a Middle-Aged Woman"tim - 39 So...you want revenge on yourself huh? It was to be taken as a joke and play on the song title considering we were the only two bottom 5 participants...so not exacting revenge on myself but the others who liked it

Well since I'm here I might as well reveal the next song to leave the top 10! Another participant was out for revenge this time around since they lose a bottom 5 just after losing a top 5 which also happens to be the 8th most polarizing song of the rankdown...

“I Wanna Feel That Way Again” was released as the second and final single from I’m from the Country and was written by Danni Leigh, Jeff Stevens, and Steve Bogard. It became another top 10 hit for Tracy in the summer of 1998 where it peaked at #9 which is also the same position in which it exits the rankdown. While Kanenrá:ke previously lost a bottom 5 he loses a top 5 here along with bboat11 who now has lost both of their top two songs. While this hovered around the top 15 it ended up getting a boost towards the end thanks to top 10’s from Cody Wants Out... and kw9461 along with bboat11 ’s top 5.

I'm thinking that "I'm From The Country", "Don't Take Her She's All I Got", and maybe "Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo" will be the 3 to miss. Maybe "Big Love" will go before one of those 3. I could see "Holdin' Heaven" going too but I am REALLY hoping it is at least in the Top 5!

"Big Love" seems most likely to leave to me, and I'll guess that "I'm From The Country" and "Lifestyles Of The Not So Rich And Famous" are the others that fall short.

Ah yes, the old "It's a slow love ballad so I have to tank it" mentality... Never fails to disappoint me. Except I don't usually do that...do I? Lol I love slow love ballads, just not this one. tim Yes I'm the middle-aged woman seeking revenge! My number one and now my #2 :'(
