Also, here are the songs that got replaced:
Too weak: - She's All I Wanna Be - Last Night Lonely - Flower Shops - To The Moon! - Circles Around This Town (NB: These would have been #96-100 in this exact order without Christmas)
Made 2021: - Knife Talk - Essence - You Should Probably Leave - Kiss Me More
Caught: - Oh My God - Better Days - Meet Me At Our Spot - All Too Well (Taylor's Version) - One Mississippi

There are some mistakes with this list. Party needs to be above DDLP, Take My Name above Virgil and dogshit above Never Say Never, as all of those should be unchanged from the original year end

There are some mistakes with this list. Party needs to be above DDLP, Take My Name above Virgil and dogs**t above Never Say Never, as all of those should be unchanged from the original year end Thanks for letting me know. I will fix this ASAP. If you notice any other mistakes, please let me know, as I was not the one who compiled this list (the ChartEssentials predictors did not revise the list after Billboard’s YE first came out).

Updated to list 2022 in the main thread. Sorry for the absence. I won't do this list going forward, so whoever wants to be the person to post here at the end of the year, be my guest.

mikerivera - This whole project became a reality only because of countless hours on your part. Really appreciate your tireless efforts and for giving us a new perspective of the biggest songs of each calendar year.

I'm late to seeing this, but as mamooshka said, thanks for your tireless work during the past few years getting these out. I don't post very much on Pulse anymore and I still go back to these lists, which I think says something about how helpful of a resource they really have been for me and for so many other chart-watchers. I'm an active member of the TOTC Discord server these days, so if I can obtain the correct numbers from those folks, I will try to get a January-December list out for at least 2023.

Well, Billboard went even further into inaccuracy with year ends (they announced the chart year ended 2 weeks ago)sigh. If anyone is interested I have a Twitter account where I am posting my crownnote Jan-Dec no Christmas year end (as well as a list for the new timeframe and the old Billboard one) twitter.com/UrtarYEpredicts

You know what? The way Billboard botched the tracking year for 2023 was too egregious. I'll post this year's list at the very end of the year. Already put it together, just need to get the updates in week by week. I expect the cutoff will be around 120k-125k.

Great to see the tradition of making these lists continue! Definitely an interesting list for 2023, and in my opinion better and FAR more accurate than Billboard's iteration.
If I may ask, what are songs #101-105 (a.k.a. the 5 songs that would've made the list without the Christmas music)?

Considering how badly the chart window for the official chart got messed up, I'm gonna share which songs finished 101-120. This will highlight where the songs that were too weak finished as well as which songs would have passed them up. Besides, it's nice to see which songs got stiff armed by the Christmas songs and the carryovers from last year. Rank | Song | Artist | Peak | Top 10 | Hot 100 | Points | 101 | PRC | Peso Pluma & Natanael Cano | #33 |
| 20 | 123,450 | 102 | Lose Control | Teddy Swims | #39 |
| 19 | 122,950 | 103 | Ain't That Some | Morgan Wallen | #11 |
| 20 | 120,790 | 104 | Wild As Her | Corey Kent | #40 |
| 19 | 120,180 | 105 | Is it Over Now? | Taylor Swift | #1 | 4 | 8 | 119,400 | 106 | I Wrote the Book | Morgan Wallen | #18 |
| 18 | 117,390 | 107 | BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53 | Bizarrap & Shakira | #9 | 1 | 15 | 116,750 | 108 | Slime You Out | Drake ft. SZA | #1 | 2 | 12 | 116,700 | 109 | Put it On Da Floor Again | Latto ft. Cardi B | #13 |

| 20 | 115,030 | 113 | Lil Boo Thang | Paul Russell | #23 |
| 14 | 113,300 | 114 | Cowgirls | Morgan Wallen ft. ERNEST | #40 |

And with that, I would like to announce my retirement from Pulse. This has been one of my favorite hobbies since 2017, and I'm glad I got to learn so much about music in that time period. But, as I mentioned in my post on the most streamed songs thread, my life is moving forward, and I have much bigger commitments to attend to. Thank you to everyone who followed my projects (this one especially), the feedback helped this feel worth it.

Thank you for everything, Mike. You've always been one of my favorite Pulse members, and like I've said before, this thread especially has been an invaluable resource to the entire chart-watching community. Best of luck on all your future endeavors!

Enjoy your retirement, mikerivera. Many of us enjoy your posts and you've earned it. Hope your commitments don't pull you too far away from your passion for music charts.

According to our friends at TOTC, Qlona did end up making the 2023 January-December YE at #95 with about 127,200 points, knocking out Peaches & Eggplants. Appears we may have forgotten to track it altogether.

I just saw that the guy who did these left the site. I was going to tell him there was an error in the 1979 list - “Bad Girls” by Donna Summer spent 5 weeks at the top spot, not 4, in addition to an extra week in the top 10 and top 100 overall columns. Ah well, I wish him the best.

Ah well, I wish him the best. Good catch. "Bad Girls" topped the chart for 5 weeks (not 4) and spent 10 weeks (not 9) in the Top 10. Its 20 weeks in the Hot 100 (as listed) is accurate. Not 100% certain, but those extra points are likely enough to bump "Bad Girls" to #5 ahead of "Ring My Bell" ... but likely not enough to pass "Da Ya Think". An incredible feat nonetheless for an artist who practically owned 1979. She was the first woman to put two titles in a year-end Top 10, let alone a year-end Top 5.
