This is her best bet yet to prove "Say So" wasn't a fluke... and the label is doing absolutely nothing. Watch her get a Grammy slot and waste it on "Say So (12341th performance on an award show remix)".

Okay so I think this is a cool song and watching it rise so fast is very pleasing, but I must ask; has there ever been a hit song with a tempo slower than this? Like, genuinely curious because I can't think of any off the top of my head.

It's on the spincrease chart with a move of 159 so I'm confident it will enter tonight after recurrents and purges, if there are any, or by the next couple of days at least.
Nothing on rhythmic yet, but a #50 on pop (3 weeks later than it should have happened) is a good sign. Hope that forces RCA to push it

I think it's safe to say that this entered at #50 in the Sunday morning update and it will be, by default, in tonight's published update, so I'm moving this thread here.

This is gonna SMASH. If radio can jump on drivers license so fast from TikTok hype they better jump on this.

I feel like this is going to be bigger on Urban and Rhythmic than it will on Top 40. I can see it going Top 5 on all 3 formats.

I feel like this is going to be bigger on Urban and Rhythmic than it will on Top 40. I can see it going Top 5 on all 3 formats. I agree. Doja isn't really established on Urban and this might be the song to solidify her there. Especially if there's a remix of some sort (which most of us are going to hate probably, but it is what it is)
I just don't understand why RCA is not pushing. It went top 20 on the Hot 100 with zero airplay, what more does the song need to do on its own to warrant a push? They've already missed the perfect timing for all the metrics to align into a super high peak. Maybe they've booked some sort of big launch for her next lead single and they're trying to salvage it? Idk. But this is a smash

Didn’t they already prep the lead single from her next album? And then the sudden rise of “Streets” obviously made them change course. They probably are just now readying a music video shoot for this if they are going full fledged. That can certainly help the song peak higher if it’s dropped a few weeks from now. But I agree, puzzled that they haven’t scheduled a radio impact date. This could’ve been a perfect Valentines launch.

Yeah, the video thing I get, but the thing is music video has zero impact on radio promotion, so with or without a video, this could totally smash on radio. And it's not like they'd have to do much to push this at radio given how strong streaming is right now, it'd be like marriage for couples that already live together, an impact date (wedding lol) should do its job to tell radio they can play this, cause there will be work invested into the song

if this doesn't get a substantial push ima be livid Okay so I think this is a cool song and watching it rise so fast is very pleasing, but I must ask; has there ever been a hit song with a tempo slower than this? Like, genuinely curious because I can't think of any off the top of my head. this is actually a super interesting point -- besides COMN (which didn't go beyond the 40s on pop), i genuinely can't think of anything from the last 10 years. i'm super curious how radio responds to this (and good days if they're smart and give it a push) -- if they do well they'll hopefully pave the way for more "vibey" stuff that typically doesn't get played on the radio, but i can also see them bombing callouts if they get to that point
