Blinding Lights actually INCREASED globally Friday/Saturday. As did Dance Monkey, TUSA, Memories. The Box also only decreased 7k, and Life Is Good only decreased 2k. For big established hits, an increase/staying stable on Saturday isn't out of the norm. For a new debut it is rare. |

In response to the meme Tootsie Slide was like not on my watch hopefully Tootsie Slide doesn't Slide it's way to making his next album. i made a typo in the meme and edited it. toosie slide is probably gonna be attached to an album considering its huge push and such. but it'll probably just be attached onto the end of one. I just saw the edit lol and you are right it'll probably attached to the album as a bonus track or something to that sort. |

Can someone give me the very short cliff notes of the 5SOS vs Weeknd album drama? album sales for the 5sos album went up early which caused some sales to get caught between weeks, resulting in the album debuting at 62 the week prior and the album missing the #1 spot on the bb200. 5sos stans r crying now bc they can't decipher the difference between longevity and peak. |

"Chasin' You" is basically guaranteed to be a #1 on country radio and without album bombs, the audience from country radio is enough to get a song into the top 40. Top that with enormous streaming support (for a country song) and decent sales and you have a top 20 hit! |

Toosie actually seems to have increased in Spotify streams WW. Still most likely behind BL in numbers though. I've seen a lot of people mess up the name of this song. I've seen people call it Tootsie Slide, Toosie Roll, etc. it doesn't help that apple autocorrects it to tootsie |

It is probably that Toosie Slide's both versions got unified in a single number. Tomorrow's Spotify number should confirm whether that happened or not. Spotify is still separating them apparently. Spotify Canada still has 2 versions charting. Playcounts: Day 1: 5,995,702 (explicit) + 895,356 (clean) = 6,891,058 Day 2: 12,357,297 (explicit) + 1,331,613 (clean) = 13,688,910 (+6,797,852)Barely a decrease  Oh okay, well this is certainly good news and looks like a debut at #1 is happening at this point. |

The clean version which is counting seperately, probably has 150-200k streams, which puts it around 2.45m~. A decrease of 7-10% in US. |

He thought I was African, and there’s a tribe in Africa called the Watusi tribe, so every time he saw me, he’d call me “Watusi.” He was trying to be funny, and then my best friend started calling me that in school. The “Wa” dropped off, and Toosie stuck. |
