It peaked at #3 in early October. The song was written by Chris DeStefano, Ashley Gorley and Catt Gavitt and included on her self-titled, debut album. Jana is a singer and actress from Michigan. She's best known for her role as Alex Dupre on the show One Tree Hill. She's married to former NFL player Mike Caussin, who played four seasons at tight end for the Buffalo Bills. She charted one more top 10 single in 2015 ("I Got the Boy"). Can't stand Jana's vocals and "Why Ya Wanna's" really emphasizes those vocals to the strongest degree. I would've enjoyed it more if almost anyone else sang it lol. Station-changer. Hate mail will go to sabre14 lol.

I love most of Jana Kramerâs music and consider her âreal countryâ but âWhy Ya Wannaâ is garbage, that vocal arrangement is terrible.
âAngel Eyesâ is a great song, but back in 2012 I would hear it SO much on the radio driving back and forth to college classes that it became a station changer for me. After time away from it, Iâm able to enjoy it once again. This was always one of my momâs favorite songs â€ïž

"Why Ya Wanna" is overrated. I agree that Jana's vocals are an acquired taste, and this song brings out the worst in them. She has much better material than this. I ranked it higher than I thought I would, but I guess it has grown on me since 2012!
"Angel Eyes" is a jam! It's one of those huge songs that will go down in history even while the artist is forgotten, lmao. Overplay definitely ruined it for awhile, but it sounds sooooo damn good compared to the huge hits of nowadays...

#18. Dustin Lynch - "Cowboys and Angels"
Total Points: 866 Average: 39.3 Year Released: January, 2012 Mediabase Peak: #2 Billboard Peak: #2 Rankings:Cody Wants Out... - 2 fireflies - 10 ladyđfan - 10 bigfan101 - 13 raylatch98 - 13 tim - 14 dgarcia3377 - 24 gardyfan - 24 fearlessarrow - 28 kw9461 - 28 bboat11 - 32 castleoblivion26 - 33 .indulgecountry - 36 recordyear - 36 ClevelandRox - 41 LBTrocks - 45 KanenrĂĄ:ke - 53 toomuchboy - 62 zaclord đ - 71 austin - 73 sabre14 - 109 someguy - 109 Following: taylor"Cowboys and Angels" was released as Dustin's Lynch's debut single off Broken Bow Records in January of 2012. It peaked at #2 in early October. The song was written by Lynch, Josh Leo and Tim Nichols. It was the lead single off his self-titled, debut album.
Not a fan of this one's melody and the lyrics are corny to me, but I did, as everyone thought, he would be a neotraditional-minded artist and then his next single came out ("She Cranks My Tractor") and it was all downhill from there lol. By the second album he had abandoned that sound and it was the trendy, pop-laced production and snap tracks. Lynch is probably, other than say Chase Rice, my least favorite mainstream country artist right now. I think his music is downright awful.

âFly Over Statesâ is hands down Jasonâs best song, and is one of my all-time fav country tunes. Phenomenal melody and lyrics! Glad this made top 20, but a part of me was holding out hope it could have made top 10 lol. Thrilled this is well-liked tho!

"Cowboys & Angels" remains Dustin Lynch's best song and the only song from him I 1) use to this day and 2) love or even like. "Good Girl" is alright I guess but man, he really had something going with C&A and then went and ruined it. A damn shame because had he kept going that route I bet he'd be one of my absolute favorite male country artists. He's still hotter than hell tho. My heart does a somersault whenever he's on the screen.

Every time I think I'm going to be able to get caught up I just get further and further behind lol...let's see if I can do better as we near the end! Here's my predictions for the five songs likely to miss the top 10:
Eli Young Band - "Even It Breaks Your Heart" Tim McGraw - "Better Than I Used to Be" The Band Perry - "Postcard from Paris" Lauren Alaina - "Eighteen Inches" David Nail - "The Sound of a Million Dreams"
I'd love for both of David's songs to make it in, but alas I don't want to get my hopes up so of the two songs I'd have to go with the one above that might exit. I'm not entirely confident that Kellie's "100 Proof" will make it in either, but that song seems to be pretty well liked on Pulse and she has quite a few stans amongst the group so I'll say it squeezes in.

I think it's cute that everybody is assuming Martina is going to make the top 10. Like I agree that she should, but we've watched so many of her top-10-worthy songs die in the 11-15 range very consistently in the last several year-end rankdowns that had roughly the same group of participants.... I hope y'all are right! But I am keeping my expectations low. taylor if Josh Turner misses the top 10 because of you, we'll be looking at a real life case of goodbye, farewell, so long, vaya con dios, good luck My prediction for the 5 to miss: Eli Young Band - "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" Martina McBride - "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" Tim McGraw - "Better Than I Used to Be" Lauren Alaina - "Eighteen Inches" David Nail - "The Sound of a Million Dreams"

taylor if Josh Turner misses the top 10 because of you, we'll be looking at a real life case of goodbye, farewell, so long, vaya con dios, good luck Girl I never submitted a list? Besides, I didn't think the Josh Turner fandom was quite as large. I knew there was some of us (me, you, .indulgecountry in particular) who love him to pieces, but figured that...let's be real, this is Pulse, men rarely get a #1 in full-genre things like this :kii:

âGood Girlâ is a Carrie song I have never been able to get into. I donât like the melody and have always thought Carrie really over-sings this one; especially in the bridge, but I hear it in the verse too.
Damn, was hoping âPontoonâ would have been able to sneak into the top 10. Really catchy and fun song! I LOVE the production so much! They have better but I really love this one too.
Pretty sure I only have one top 10 left now. Good news is I think it might win, but this is Pulse so Iâm not going to bet on it yet lol, weâll see.

I knew Kellie wouldn't make it, but I'm fine with the others. I despise "Pontoon" and I've never really liked "Good Girl." Lauren Alaina... Meh. I've only like two songs by her and that's not one of them.
