Reaching #1 doesnβt guarantee anyone will remember the song. Ain't that the truth. If I told you Song A from 1990 was a Hot 100 #1, is in the All-Time Top 600 list, and peaked in the top 15 in 8 other countries; and Song B from 1990 is on an album that only cracked the top 100 on the album charts in Sweden and The Netherlands, and the artist's best peak in America overall was #11 on Heatseekers--which one would you guess has 3.5 million Spotify streams while the other one has merely 500 thousand? The answer: the 500k is for Song A, "She Ain't Worth It" by Glenn Medeiros and Bobby Brown, while the 3.5m is for Song B, "Left Hand Path" by Entombed.

I think one of my favorite examples of this is: Eminem's second most streamed on Spotify is "'Till I Collapse" at 888 million. The track was never a single. It's highest chart position is #73 in the UK. Meanwhile, "Cleanin' Out My Closet," from the same album, reaching the top ten basically everywhere, has 184 million.

I use this same example every time but in a bit more brutal way.
'Till I Collapse has more streams on Spotify than the top 10 songs on the 2002 Year-End Hot 100 songs chart.
'Till I Collapse has 887.8M. The top 10 songs of 2002 sorted by streams (numbers are in millions).
797.9, 409.5, 381.2, 369.9, 293.4, 215.5, 166.9, 142.9, 142.8, 124.8
Apart from 'In The End' the other songs are not even close.
'Till I Collapse is the biggest exception in the digital era. It is the highest certified digital song that was never a single, by a longshot.

Bts on 21st, BP on 28th. Back to Back K-Pop no. 1 on Hot 100 would be crazy, unlikely for BP though.

Well they already changed the rules so BTS stans aren't going to cheat their way into another Top 5 hit.
Really hope the BLACKPINK song is good though. How You Like That was a real letdown

So, DaBaby released the Deluxe version of 'BLAME IT ON BABY' (already discussed heavily on pages #1 to #3).
Blind f/ Young Thug sticks out like a sore thumb as the best track with crossover potential & sounds like a sure late Summer / early fall smash.
And because the project is being well received 'he should've made it a new album for the fall!' I'm sure word of mouth will spread so ROCKSTAR will definitely get a big boost for tomorrow (Sorry Watermelon Sugar, maybe the #1 is yours the week after next because #WAP is coming).
Check it out for yourselves if you care that much:

Itβs really funny that Spotifyβs TTH tried very hard to promote Maroon β5βs new song and itβs only at #80 lol.

are we sure Billie's "My Future" will debut top 10?
It's already down to #6 on Spotify and #17 on Apple Music. Still #2 on iTunes tho.

Doesnβt it have tons of radio support? it's up to #89 on overall radio and #31 on pop, but it looks like it will suffer quite a bit on Friday due to the 8th day effect as it's ascent has slowed down. we'll see where it ends up on radio. I think it may end up in the 11-20 range on the Hot 100.

Regarding that prediction posted above, surely Dan + Shay won't debut at #20 LOL It's not even top 100 on Spotify. Or do they have huge Youtube numbers or sth?
Maroon 5 opened at #46 with wayyyyyyyy better streams.

Well: a) They won't be hand signed signatures example: link link2b) The artists sure as hell won't sign them (someone will do it for them - neither the first nor the last time)
