^Unfortunately, it seems to be suffering a similar fate. Which is shame and seems unfair, since stuff that's not nearly as good such as One Margarita gets to remain relatively stable in Country radio airplay.

The Weeknd's radio dominance is not really going to be helping him much I'd guess, because his dominance tends to be with songs that slowly climb. Radio dropped "In Your Eyes" prematurely earlier this year. The TikTok concert should help a lot, though, and people will be interested to hear the song at least once. 

As with any predictions, let's hear the songs first to see if they're any good. I'm setting my expectations really low for the Cardi x Megan collab just so I'm not disappointed when it comes out.

Similar to how take what you want and enemies were dropped in priority of circles in post malone’s case. Think of how call out my name, starboy, can’t feel my face, earned it (and maybe the hills? not 100% sure), etc, were all dominant radio hits, and if they make the priority on this new track, it’s no guarantee it will do just as well

do you think radio will drop Blinding Lights next week and jump on this new song? sure, Blinding Lights is sort of on a decline, but that doesn't guarantee any success for this unreleased track's radio showing.

I think Watermelon Sugar is a little too far behind to catch Blinding Lights by its 19th week. Keep in mind, BL's lead on WS is still about 22M on Kworb, which means WS has to make up about 2M per day each day to prevent BL from getting that 19th week. I think BL sneaks in a 19th week, and breaks the Iris record.

first off: it's still in the Top 10 on Spotify and has a good radio deal. It was also just released FIVE DAYS AGO, and she only got big last year so apologize if she doesn't have the clout veterans have. Maybe wait a few more weeks/months before labeling something as a flop. This is stan-level cringey

Finally, she's a teenager who's struggled with depression. She can be as moody and emotional as she wants, she's young. She's made plenty of songs before about being sad and she can continue to do so if she wants, and it's not like you can't be successful and write about your struggles of mental illness.

I am only criticizing her song , not HER!! And you’re of course entitled to your opinion , I don’t expect everybody to think as I do . Good day and hugs to you ❤️😊😘
