Stats for #13:
The next song had a steady rise from just outside the top 40 before making its way into being a top 10 contender during the midpoint. It wasn't able to recover from its one and only bottom 5, however, and from there had to settle for a top 15 showing. Three lose a top 5 ranking while a seventh participant loses their top ranked song.
Best rankdown position: 7 Worst rankdown position: 42 Average position: 22.52 SD Rank: 14th Lowest Ranking distribution: Top 10s: 4 11 to 20: 5 21 to 30: 5 31 to 40: 6 41 to 50: 0 Bottom 5s: 1

Had "Reckless" not received its one and only bottom 5 from austin this likely would've been able to at least peak just outside of the top 10. My condolences to our resident Martina stan, bboat11, who becomes the now seventh participant to lose their top ranking song.

Stats for #12:
The second to last song to exit before the top ten was a very consistent top 15 contender for its entire run and even snuck into the top 10 a few times. Coming in as the 11th most polarizing song, a handful of participants put this in their top 20 along with four others putting this as a top 10. We have two with different thoughts on this song, however, as one put this as their last placed song while another put this as the top of their list becoming our eighth participant and fourth in a row to lose their top ranking song.
Best rankdown position: 7 Worst rankdown position: 39 Average position: 22.38 SD Rank: 11th Highest Ranking distribution: Top 10s: 6 11 to 20: 6 21 to 30: 2 31 to 40: 3 41 to 50: 3 Bottom 5s: 1

What if I told you the world wouldn't end If you started showing what's under your skin? What if you let 'em all in on the lie?

Taylor's "State Of Grace" is good. I do prefer the version of "State Of Grace" where she worked at Walmart. It's two completely different songs tho.

Wait why did State of Grace lose the tiebreaker when it has more #1s than Reckless? Poor Taylor cannot leave at her lucky number lol

Any guesses at to which song misses the top 10?!? My #1 as karma for homecoming flop. 😂 The Girl Next Door song feels like it has overstayed, had no idea it was so well liked and something about her attitude in it was a major turnoff for me. 😐

Stats for #11:
The last song to exit was on track to finish in the top 10 until the final list rolled in pinning this with its third bottom 5 ranking. Just prior to that it had even managed to briefly squeak into the top 5 thanks to the strong support it received from those that put this in their top 10.

Wait why did State of Grace lose the tiebreaker when it has more #1s than Reckless? Poor Taylor cannot leave at her lucky number lol Because "State of Grace" was the third most polarizing song compared to "Reckless" which was the 14th lowest. If the standard deviation had been closer or Taylor's hadn't been so polarizing I would've reconsidered the tiebreaker.

The Girl Next Door song feels like it has overstayed Hater. When you took me home, you knew who you were taking Not some Debbie debutante standing in an apron, frying up your bacon

Dang you ClevelandRox..."Girl Next Door" was all set to finish in the top ten until your bottom 5! It's always a bit disappointing to see something like this happen in rankdowns especially when this song had momentarily made the top 5 just before that. I know this song has always had a few detractors, though, so I wasn't entirely surprised to see such a scenario happen.

Maren Morris ”80’s Mercedes“ It's Saturday night, about time to go Got my white leather jacket and a neon soul Once I turn on the radio I'm ready to roll, roll, ready to roll
Feel like a hard-to-get starlet when I'm driving Turning every head, hell I ain't even trying Got them Ray-Ban shades pretty in pink Call me old school but hey
Taylor Swift ”Red“ Losing him was blue like I'd never known Missing him was dark grey, all alone Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met But loving him was red
Martina McBride ”I’m Gonna Love You Through It“ When you're weak, I'll be strong When you let go, I'll hold on When you need to cry, I swear That I'll be there to dry your eyes When you feel lost and scared to death, Like you can't take one more step Just take my hand, together we can do it I'm gonna love you through it. ”Independence Day“ Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing Let the whole world know that today Is a day of reckoning Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay It's Independence Day
Kelsea Ballerini ”Legends“ We were golden, we were fire, we were magic Yeah, and they all knew our names all over town We had it made in the middle of the madness We were neon in a grey crowd Yeah, we wrote our own story Full of blood sweat and heartbeats We didn't do it for the fame or the glory And but we went down in history
Brandy Clark ”Homecoming Queen“ Yeah, too bad love ain't a local parade In your uncle's Corvette on a Saturday With all the little girls waiting on you to wave When you're seventeen You don't know That you won't always be Homecoming queen

Omg I didn't think my #1 would survive this cut and I'm very happy about it.
But I all of the 5 songs that are out were on my top25, so I'm still conflicted about what I think about this cut. But it's getting tougher and harder so...
But my only top10 was "homecoming queen?", and it was making to the top10 until the very last ranking that had it at last place.
Edit: Just realized my top3 is intact, love to see it...

Now why would you put that as your last place It honestly bores the 💩 out of me and if it was sung by someone y'all don't put on a pedestal, I don't think it would be nearly as popular on here. Pretty sure I had it in the 100's in the Year End rankdown too. -Oprah shrug gif- Put on a pedestal? If 2006 Taylor had written this (2006 Taylor was NOT as much of a vocalist as Kelsea is), I'd like it just as much. I look at vocals yes but I also look for lyricism and production and judge it based on everything overall. And I'm certainly not one to rank a song higher than others simply because of the artist's name. If that were the case, I wouldn't have lost my #1 long ago cause I'd have put Carrie in that spot.

There's nothing anybody can do about it. :)

Alright, buckle up ladies as I'm about to dive into the top 10! I'm only going to reveal the first two songs at this time and will come back around a bit later to continue onward. Here are a few tidbits about the songs that miss the top 5: - None of the songs were overly polarizing with one of them having the 3rd smallest standard deviation
- Someway, somehow, there are still five bottom 5 rankings out there with two of those being someone’s last place
- Two of those bottom 5s will exit this round with one of them being a last place
- Only one of the songs remained in the top 15 for its entire run
- Neither of the five songs were ever #1 contenders
