Wtf kind of deluxe is this? An interlude, a remix of a hit, so three new songs all less than 8 minutes long. Ahhhhh Dua literally did the same thing last week. It's the new norm. Or the old norm. Re-released albums 10-15 years ago used to just come with a few new songs didnβt they? Iβd say the track lengths are more a product of todayβs cheapening of pop music though. |

Very interested in Ariana's numbers tomorrow, I predict test drive to debut in the Top 20 It's #1 on TTH. it should debut in top 5.. top 20 will be an underperformance Somehow i doubt that. It's building so slowly on apple music and with no video or radio it doesn't seem that likely. |

You could have all streaming in your hands but if you donβt have any radio at all, well take your L anyways because youβre never going to hit #1

Thank you all I didn't know about the familiarity threshold for callouts. I thought it was based on spins/pop chart position.
Still kind of surprised Monsters is there but SYT and Willow aren't.

I might be in the minority, but the separate deluxe editions cheapens the album in my books. I can be a big fan of a solid 12 song collection, but when they add 5 a bit worse tracks there... it's not the same any more for me. I get what you're saying but the original versions of these albums still exist (and should be referred to when you're judging the artistic value of a project). Business decisions beyond that, more often than not, might not even be up to the artist. I highly doubt Dua Lipa asked for "UN DIA" to be on Future Nostalgia. Ariana probably didn't come up with the deluxe idea herself, either. Go stream Positions instead of Positions (Deluxe) is all I'm saying. No one's taking that away. |

I may be calling it early, but the new 6ix9ine is not doing very well. Everything after TROLLZ week 1 has tanked (including any efforts to keep TROLLZ relevant). It will get okay Youtube numbers (thank you bots), but nonone cares about the guy anymore. |
