Like I said in new country release rankdown Sunday Drive is a career song. He just needs a televised performance which unfortunately is easier said than done regarding his star status. I like the sparse piano touch in Need Someone so it doesn't become another typical nu-disco song, but it is not as good as Sunday Drive.

That story surrounding るるちゃんの自殺配信 is really scary, that said I think her delivery here is too forceful. It wants to be a happy sad sing but it has too few sad elements aside from lyrics. ATM is weaker Bree Runway song I have heard. The ending guitar is not very useful, is it? But I think this is more palatable than the other song.

- "Rare Changes" is okay overall, but I'm not a huge fan of the vocals here. "Jealous" wasn't exactly amazing either, but I like the tempo and it has an interesting instrumental that makes the song kind of catchy. I can get behind this one a little bit.

- I don't really consider myself a big Brett Eldredge fan because in the past, his songs have mostly been mid-tier for me. But "Sunday Drive" is really nice. I love a good piano ballad and he sounds good too. I have not liked a Zara Larsson song in a long time. This is kind of just generic and I don't like the vocal layering in the chorus.

Shinsei Kamattechan - “るるちゃんの自殺配信” (cf72, #1) vs. Bree Runway f/ Missy Elliott - “ATM” (BB, #6)
- Not a huge fan of the vocals on this Shinsei song, but I like the positive vibe it has going for it. It's kind of a fun listen for the most part. I'm not a fan of the chorus on "ATM", but everything else about the song is killer, soooo yeah.

Ashe & Finneas - “Till Forever Falls Apart” (Keatonzab, #1) vs. Vegyn f/ Jeshi - “I See You Sometimes” (peacebone, #6)
- YAWN! I'm sensing a lack of chemistry here. These two sound ok on their own, but they don't sound all that great as a duet. "I See You Sometimes" is significantly more interesting and I really dig the beat on this one.

Julien Baker - “Favor” (Adrian C., #1) vs. Craig Finn - “Calvary Court” (American Idiot, #6)
- "Calvary Court" is kind of a cool song, though I'm underwhelmed by his voice. It does have a cool instrumental, just not the most memorable thing I've heard today. "Favor" is a standout from Julien Baker's album and probably one of my favorite songs of the year so far. Great instrumental and nice vocals that kind of give me Phoebe Bridgers vibes.

- "Aftertouch" was a perfectly pleasant listen. Not all that memorable, but the production is cool. "Law N Order", on the other hand, is boring. Not my cup of tea personally.

Tai Verdes f/ Kiana Ledé - “Stuck In The Middle Pt. II” (Kimberly, #1) vs. Lil Ugly Mane - “Headboard” (singingrulebritannia, #6)
- "Stuck In The Middle" felt pretty bland in my opinion. I think Kiana sounds good on it though. There's just not much else outside of that. "Headboard" has some cool vocals, although I couldn't totally make out what was being said haha. Still a cool style though, and I like the instrumental as well.

- I like Ingrid Andress a lot, so it pains me to have to vote against her here. "Feeling Things" is a really pretty song and I enjoy it quite a bit. But I also really like "Vicious Pastimes" and I usually really dig this style. The vocal style is cool and the instrumentation is pretty great. Cool discovery!

Yea it's definitely new to that edition. And I kind of see why Travis chose that venue to release it? since it fits with the rest of the tape thematically, but like...I can't think of anyone else who puts out new material in this convoluted of a fashion lmao
