I feel like we've had A Hero's Death in like, 4 madnesses at this point somehow haaaaa. I still don't care for the song at all. Beautiful Desperation is good, I've had it in my rotation for a few weeks now, solid piece of pop rock. Need to listen to more from this group.

Ehh I find Kathleen Edwards a generally unexciting if listenable artist. I like this one more than either of the AAA singles, but still doesn't do too much for me. I am interested in this pop punk Trippie Redd project, keep meaning to check it out, and I guess this song is as good a selling point as any. Honestly think this is better than like, anything I've heard from the new Deftones album.

"Trippin" was pretty nice, I thought it was a bit on the forgettable side of things but it sounded really pleasant. I thought "Earth Is A Black Hole" was melodically pleasant and I actually liked it a good bit on first listen.

I don't like this as much as the other My Morning Jacket song that appeared before here. I liked some of the instrumentals, but overall the song didn't do a ton for me. "'Cosmic'.4a" was the more engaging listen of the two for me, I liked the flow of the rapping.

The punk vibes in "A Hero's Death" is nice, I love the power of drums in the whole song. I think the entire vibe of the song in "Beautiful Desperation" might be something I might vibe with more than "A Hero's Death" but the vocals weren't exactly my favorite. Also the "life ain't always empty" part is stuck in my head lol.

Kathleen Edwards is an artist I need to check out more. I've seen songs from her chart on AAA and I remember liking them, and "Glenfern" was nice too. "GERONIMO" really wasn't my thing but also I don't think Trippie Redd and Chino Moreno meshed that well in the song.

Even though it's not one of my favorite tracks from the album (they really should be pushing Wear U Down and Wasting Time should be singles), it's still a catchy enough alt rock tune. Trippin' is a weird, a mid R&B song interpolating a nostalgic but also admittedly mid R&B hit from the 2000s.
