I will still have show the videos which would've been hints (after the reveal), but no more video hints before the reveal. 10 has 15 of our crew give it a thumbs up, with a top 50 (2 dissenters). Some of us (11 to be exact) found it impressive enough to rank top 20. 5 ranked it top 10, and one even granted it a top 5.

#9 had a unanimous 17 top 50 rankings (vs 0). 9 people gave it bronze with top 20, yet only 2 gave it silver for top 10, with one golden top 5.

Unfortunately, I do have work very soon - so I'll have to reveal the top 8 tomorrow. At least I revealed a few songs, but I still need to work on making my future rankdowns quicker.

Kind of surprised that the highest Beatles song is "Nowhere Man". But Rubber Soul is their best album so I don't mind.

If the Nancy song was her own version of "Bang Bang", it would have ended up in or around my top ten. I've never really cared for "Boots" as much as most people, though it's obviously good. I would have put money on "Paperback Writer" being the highest Beatles song, but, even if they're not separated by much, I'm still glad "Nowhere Man" is higher. I'm a little less surprised that "Sloop John B" is lower than "Good Vibrations".

I'm sure her 1965 songs would do better in a respective rankdown. I'm thinking about eventually doing the whole 60s and 70s, though with the help of at least someone. Idk if I could handle 70s rankdowns because obviously way more people would end up participating; especially late 70s (76-79)

Sorry about the wait. I was planning to reveal late tonight, but I wanted to plan ahead so people can anticipate the final reveals. Tomorrow's reveals will begin at 5-6 PM ET. I will begin having some extras right now, however. Unfortunately, I just have had a lot on my plate and if I reveal right now, a lot of people may not be awake or present to see the reveals. I want the top 8 reveals to be something I plan ahead for - and complete at the set time I promise.

11. The Beatles - "Paperback Writer" This reveal would have left me with only one song in the top 10. This is defibnitely a PULSe rank down.
10. The Beach Boys - "Sloop John B" I put this one smack right on #50. It's decent, but I haven't heard it half as much as their other big radio hits on this list. Everyone I ask to tell me thier top 5 Beach Boys songs tell me five other songs besides this one.
9. Nancy Sinatra - "These Boots Are Made For Walkin" This always felt like a Cher song to me. Sultry and very sexy. In the end nancy probably doies a better job that Cher would hev done. #11 had such a nice ring to it.

#8 is next. We can find a total of 16 top 50 ranks, meaning one person did in fact rank it bottom 50. 12 of these were top 20, and 7 even pulled it into the top 10, but it couldn't get more than 2 top 5 placements.

At #7, we see all 17 of us rank it top 50, 13 of us ranked it to the level of a tall hill (top 20), yet only 4 of us moved it up the Appalachians (top 10), 2 of which pulled it to the Rocky mountains (top 5). Did anybody get it to the Himalayas (#1)? We shall see.

#5 is the song I put at #1. Not only did all of us put it top 50, but everyone placed it top 30! 14 of us jumped for joy for this one, ranking it top 20. 8 of us could bring this on an island if they only could bring ten songs (top 10), and five of us felt the joy of the Heavens and the Earth hearing this one. We have gotten to the Top 5 here, finally.

It was a bit tough figuring out my #1 for my personal list, but this had to be it. What a song this was. That bassline is a killer. Vanilla Fudge and Kim Wilde also had good versions, but this is my favorite for sure.

All solid songs. I'm rooting for what I consider to be the quintessential Supremes or Stones songs to win it all.

8. The Lovin' Spoonful - "Summer In the City" Just missed the Top 20 on my would be list. This is probably their most agressive so it is my favorite from this band. I wish the end did a little more than just end. They should have done something to turn that awesome piano break into a proper ending by changing up a key or two.
7. The Beatles - "Nowhere Man" The meolody definitely flows better on this one as opposed to "Paperback Writer". Maybe if I had been introduced to this one before the other? I did put it at #13 which makes me a strong fan of the song.
6. The Mamas and The Papas - "California Dreamin" Not exactly a favorite band of mine, but I did manage to find a slot for them in my top 40. I always dug the backups. I thought this one top 5 for sure?
5. The Supremes - "You Keep Me Hangin' On" Easily my a favorite from the trio. A #12 slot would have been perfect. The same slot I gave Kim's version on the PULSE 1986 Pop Rank Down.

#4 is up next, with everyone on board with this one ranked top 50, and the crew was nearly unanimous with this being top 20 also. Only 11 put it top 10, and 6 placed it top 5, though. At least one person loses a #1 also.

The Supremes saw great success and talent in 1964 and 1965 too, but 1966 was their year for sure. All 3 of these were absolutely amazing, I wish I'd put this top 10 too, and I'm glad it made it this far.

We now got the Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, and Simon and Garfunkel left. Let's see who can win it all! #3 has spectacular stats just like the last one, but one person did put it bottom 50. 2 people ranked it #1. 15 ranked it top 20 (vs. 2), 12 ranked it top 10, and 8 ranked it top 5. The best part. 2 and 3 are ONE POINT APART. 3 and 4 are only FOUR POINTS APART. And #1 beat this in a landslide. 2 only overtook 3 in the last reveal.
